Can anyone tell me what the standard oil pressures on the performance package cars are? I'm getting anxious to make sure I recorded my information correctly. I'm idling at roughly 750 rpm with about 30 psi of oil pressure once warmed up. Is this normal?
My PP GT idles right at 600RPM's and I have 20-21 PSI of oil pressure after warmed up and idling. I am running Motorcraft full synthetic 5W-20 with 1200 miles.

Thanks this helps me too.
. I made sure when I drove my car yesterday to make note of the oil pressure and idle after it was fully warmed up.

Just changed my oil today and the car was making this exact sound. I was talking to my neighbor about 70 feet away and we heard it start to do it. I had the car running at idle for about 10 min after the change when it happened. The sound went away after driving it. Who knows...

For those if you with the tick, when did you perform your first oil change? Same for y'all without the tick.

I'm at 4300 and I plan to change it around 5k. I changed just the filter I think around 1500

No ticking here. Changed the oil exactly at 1000 miles using Motorcraft filter and 5W-20 full synthetic.

When I start my car up, and outside temps are as low as 9 degrees, my oil pressure is about 80 psi. After it gets close to warming up (when the white meets the green) it's about 40 psi. Fully warmed up about 20 psi. Driving fast 5K RPMs pressure jumps as high as 90 psi, cruising about 4K RMPs, pressure is about 40 psi. Just some info if you need it. The LS3 I use to have idled about 40 psi, but took 5W-30 if I'm not mistaken.

Are you taking in into the dealer?
Did this problem happen right after an oil change? If so how many miles did you have, when this sound started to resonate.
