I think trying to install a transmission that was not designed for, or ever installed in your car, is a stupid idea....in comparison to getting one that was.

Plus, I think most MT82 issues can be addressed without replacing them. Unless you're attempting to push a bunch of additional power through them.

I have never heard of that transmission from Tick but a friend of mine got one and he spent about $17,000 and I don’t believe it’s worth it I think the Ben Callimer stage 3 is a better option.

I am not an MT82 hater. I like it very much, but the T56 is a far superior transmission. It is much more stout. You can call Ben Callimer and talk with him about. I doubt he would give you a slanted opinion being that he works on them both.

I know that a stock T56 is better than a stock MT82. I am asking specifically about the T56 in the link versus a Ben callimer stage three MT 82.

Maybe not his specific car, but, they are installed in these chassis(Mach1, GT350) from the factory.

Don't know of any MT-82's with broken input/output shafts, but seems to be all the rage with the T-56.

I'd rather deal w/ a striped gear in a MT-82 then deal with a broken input/output shaft on a T-56.

I understand that, which is why I said Call Ben and ask him. I don't think he would give you a biased answer as he works on, and supports both, so he could give you an informed opinion, as opposed to a bunch of anonymous people on the internet. 🤷‍♀️

You seem to be looking for a lot of answers from a bunch of "anonymous people on the internet".

I clicked the the link in your post and it gave me the below picture, but your point is taken. That being said, I believe my suggestion to call Ben Callimer regarding the OP's question is a good one. I can think of a question for you, but I'll keep it to myself instead.
