My point is there is all these flavors of mustang but at the end of the day they still are slight differences rather than major. I'd want to see an enthusiast vehicle that's light weight RWD (despite the fact I know this is 100% counter to what the general public wants). The key issue many have had with both the S650 and S550 is their weight. Granted the comments I'm referring to here is nitpicking.More enthusiast vehicles? There are like 4 shades of Mustang street cars from the ecoboost to this thing and that's before the S650 chassis even hits the streets. You know they'll have more special models in the years to come.
Then you have the Dark Horse S, R, and GT3 available if you want to go racing with factory built race cars. What more do you want from one brand and model line?
idk what you mean here, I've seen genuinely far worse channels than his. And the man does actually take his cars to the track too, something I actually appreciate.No.

Well.....it's really a Multimatic, not a Ford.Yes,I have a gt and have had 7 of em and a 500. But if anyone would pay 300k for a ford product they're ludicrous. Way better made products out there at that price point
Why did they have to build it in order to race the GT3? The 650 covers that doesn't it. Does the GT3 run a trans axle?Haters won't be hating when it beats Porsche or shows a strong opposition to the European models folks, this is Fords way of challenging the world, heck even vette for that matter. Ford went radical and instead of doing more with FordGT, they went ape-shit and doing it with our models. Folks this is a win for us loyal brand members and helps prove mustang isn't just a drag car. They had to build it in order to qualify for GT3 class racing, furthermore they are going for LeMans! If one can't see the pure balls Ford did to make this then maybe jump over to Honda........
If you need the wing, you need the wing. Swan-neck mounts are pretty standard. Hard to know exactly which party is so hideous. The price is cheap in that crowd, and they'll all be bought before the first is produced.I dig it, but that airplane wing is hideous, and the price is ridiculous.
Agreed with you on the weight thing. The typical consumer fills out their new buyer survey and says we love everything but it would be nice if it had a little more room. Then you end up with an M3 that's bigger than the original M5 after a couple of iterations. The S550 is a massive car compared to a lot of it's competitors. Would have loved a 3200 lb Mustang, but I think the massive width of the Coyote and the suspension design require the dimension we're stuck with.My point is there is all these flavors of mustang but at the end of the day they still are slight differences rather than major. I like the innovation shown here. If it can get the power to hook up and outrun the Porsche GT3 RS on the track, it is a bargain. Good things are going to come from this, I believe.See the full release info @ Mustang7G.com

It doesn't run a rear trans axle (keep in mind the GTD has a 50/50 weight distribution which isn't similar at all to the road car, although the road car is close). Probably the reason why the needed to do this special homologation, the GT4, DH R and S, and Supercar look far closer to the DH roadcar which probably helps them qualify for the homologation requirements. Why did they have to build it in order to race the GT3? It’s by application process just like the GT. There’s a link on the website that you can click on to inquire about the application processLots of rumors - Will this be like the FORD GT where it is only offered direct from ford through lottery type submissions? no doubt these will be sold way over msrp by most of the greedy dealers out there.
