Aside from the exterior bits, I don't think a single physical part is bespoke for the Mach 1.
And that's fine, there is no reason to re-invent stuff if they already got the parts right for previous models. This is nothing but a refresh from marketing standpoint, replacement for PP2 with improvements and nostalgia thrown into the mix to sell it even better (and colour/transmission/HP choices unlike Bullitt). Ford is doing the same with with other models as well, possibly forever. For example new Ford Focus ST Track Pack to send it off.

Not sure if the oil, transmission and differential coolers are unique or from GT350. But the improved 10R80 torque converter is definitely unique and none of the manual-only models have it :sunglasses:

It has unique front fascia, spectacular unique wheels, unique vinyls, well tuned engine, well done suspension. Anyone really asking for more needs to do serious track action first and tune it to his needs with plentiful aftermarket.

These are the primary reasons I went with the Mach 1....this "parts bin" special has all of the good parts in one package. Why wouldn't Ford use these available parts if available? No sense in recreating the wheel.

In no pariticular order, I love the Magneride,Tremec. ,Oil/Trans/Diff coolers, No Lift Shift,Active Exhaust, Rev Matching (saved me from a catastrophic shift several times now) Heated/Cooled Seats, Exhaust tone, drive modes, track apps, stability controls (my “training wheels”). Front and rear fascade and the Badging.

It has all of the best things available from Ford at a price I can afford. Most of the goodies are not visible to the casual onlooker while parked at a CnC but can only be appreciated while driving the car. I only wish they had a red button and a blue button on the steering wheel that I can assign a custom mode to. A Jeckyl and Hyde switch per se.

Yep, I have a friend who says the same. He always mocks me "Dude, when you're taking the damn thing for paint?" And Im like "Naah, I plan to get it wrapped, but cant make up my mind on the color yet..." I bet the guys at Ford felt like me and they've figured it out like, "Hey, why should we paint it at all! Lets throw some stickers and make label it a special wdition color. Then all colors will be options and we make Mo$$$$"

Humm...thats a primer with some glint... LOL...
True, but it fantastically emphasizes the body lines. Something the S650 lacks for example.
To each his own, the versatility is great. If FJG wasn't promo colour, it surely wouldn't have such high sales. It works nicely with orange and black contrasts but without them not so well. I'm not a non-colour cars fan (unlike the majority of car buyers) so it never was an option for me. This silver, though. Love it. I'm a metallic fan.

Well turns out at least one Challenger guy likes Mach 1's...

Guy with a red 2015 SRT with a 6-speed(!) stopped me in a parking lot today to ask about it. By the time we were done he had checked under the hood and listened to a startup, and then we chatted about all the mods to his car.

IMO, that's the way it's supposed to work. :like:
