When I see Mach 1’s listed with prices that are not much more than what I paid for my brand new 2021 Shelby GT500, I feel extremely blessed that I got such a good deal

This! If one can acquire a GT500 without a huge markup, it makes total sense - way more bang for your buck compared to the Mach 1.I’m a GT500 owner who goes out of my way to talk to folks about their mustangs regardless of which trim it is. I was looking heavily into buying a Mach before I did a see budget analysis and decided to go with the GT500.
Gear heads don’t much care or notice your individual mods. Hell, half the time at shows I have to point out very obvious mods to people who have no idea it’s far from stock.
And GT500 parts. It's the culmination of (N/A) S550 engineering. Ford engineers must have had a blast working on the Mach 1 (HP).Well if you're not happy with a Mustang GT having parts from the bins of the PP, Bullet, and GT350 to make it a better Mustang, then I guess Ford can make you a whole new Ford GT. Oh wait, they did. It won at Le Mans. It stickers for what, $500,000, 750,000, or was it 900,000? I don't remember. Anyway, it's not a parts bin car. No wait, the engine is a 3.5 liter V6 out of the F150 with dual turbo chargers, and the.......
The original had functional ones.I believe the empty holes was homage to the original Mach 1.
FWIW the BOSS 429 is the best in my book.
"What he said"I would love to own a Mach 1. And others opinions about my taste or how I spend my money wouldn't even make my top 10 "fucks to give" list. Just enjoy your car & who cares what others think.
They are functional if you remove the removable plastic insert. They provide more airflow to radiator and intake. The original had functional ones.
There’s a reason they made them removable. I think the plan changed somewhere along the line…But then again, what do I know. My inserts are smaller because I don’t have the big wheel and tire option. They are functional if you remove the removable plastic insert. They provide more airflow to radiator and intake.

Do the Mach1s at the Track experience have auto or manual transmissions?hahaha!
I thought it was interesting that the Mach 1's used for the Track experience didn't have them removed when I went in 2021. It was pretty hot out

Is the MACH 1 geared lower than the Bullitt? Sure seems so in this video. Sounds great though, and the car seems to have perfect manners for canyon carving. And GT500 parts. It's the culmination of (N/A) S550 engineering. Ford engineers must have had a blast working on the Mach 1 (HP).
How reviewers should have driven it...
Let's throw down then, pussy lover! No, I'm right and you're wrong because of so and so reason. Oh btw my cat is faster than your dog

I find the long gearing makes 3rd gear a fantastic canyon carver gear, but the few times he went into 4th makes me think the M1 is geared lower. 7K in 3rd in the Bullitt is 120+ and I doubt he was going that fast.
I have toyed with the idea of a M1, but not a big fan of the sticker package. Was the same for the GT 350. I'm not a fan of stripes and stickers, and why I was drawn to the Bullitt. It is the Fighter Jet Gray that really draws me. I may end up getting the Bullitt wrapped in FJG I like it so much.
