It now needs a bath after sitting outside for the last week sulking.

Today's festivities included swapping out my busted Diode Dynamics side marker LED (still under warranty, so that was nice). And loading up my tool cart so maybe I can try to stay a little more organized (unlikely). I cleaned/Rainx'd my windows as well, but after the pic. So they're at least cleaner now lol.

Officially took the car out of hibernation and started to clean it up.

Took a break to run bro to hospital …

Came back and continued on the car.

Went back to pick him up (seven stitches).

Continued on the car. Finished having completed :
  • Foam and power wash.
  • Two bucket wash.
  • Trunk shut (I hate cleaning around the hinges …).
  • Clean screen (oily drip from sensor).
  • Dressed tyres.
Done ready for my first local car meet of the year, which I arrived first … :giggle:

With the field being shut as it was to wet, it soon got busy though …

Why would we have a car meet in a gravel parking lot? Makes no sense.
Because they are located in the UK, pretty impressive with the different US models represented.

Technically it’s at a local grass airfield, but the field was water logged so there was little choice (which is why it was very cramped).

It’s normally like this :

Yes, it’s surprising what people have got tucked away in their garages :sunglasses:

Our biggest show (which is about 30 mins from me) gets about 2500 vehicles :

Yeah, that’s on grass too … lol

I'm surprised US cars are so popular in the UK lol
