We got 9ā of heavy, wet, concrete snow yesterday. Temps were 36* so the bottom layer was slush of 1ā or so. Hard on man and machine. New DPW plow boy put down salt like it was on sale so weāll be waiting for some rain in the future before cars come out. BummerLOL right! The snow here ended up being a big nothing thank goodness and even better they didnāt put any salt down.
Man that sucks. I heard places north and west of us got hammered with snow. Iām so done with it, Iām ready for 70ās and sunshine. We got 9ā of heavy, wet, concrete snow yesterday. My Roush ones sent a template to cut the battery cover. I did that and am happy with the turnout.Do you have to remove the passenger strut to remove your battery?
Nice, I was scrolling down the page and got to your picture and thought, "that looks like the Blue Water Bridges"! I grew up in Port Huron near Pine Grove Park.![]()
Took it for the first cruise in a while, haha. Blue water bridge in the background
Haha nice! I am down about 20 miles south of Port Huron, so took a nice cruise up the river and into Port Huron today.Nice, I was scrolling down the page and got to your picture and thought, "that looks like the Blue Water Bridges"! I grew up in Port Huron near Pine Grove Park.
What did you use for the headlights? Is it covers or tint? Looks great!Finished the front with shades.. quite time consuming! Next all rear and side markers. Tail lights are already Raxioms.
More to come..

Which model quickjacks did you get? Also can you please clarify why the Steeda jacking rails wouldnāt interface correctly with the quickjacks. ThanksI built my new set of Quick Jacks, then made a trial run on the Mustang.
Had to use the rubber blocks on the pinch welds as I have Steeda Jacking rails installed. They are not long enough to take the quick jack.
Iāve never used the pinch welds.. any recommendations for blocks which do not deform the side skirts.?

Gun smoke (medium)What did you use for the headlights? Is it covers or tint? Looks great!

Common I understand. One side on my rears was totaled when unscrewed and I had to have the oem line cut and a new end put on.Front and rear passenger side bolts that connect the steel hydraulic brake tube to the stock rubber lines were cross threaded af from the factory. Took me a couple hours of an adjustable die and a small file to get the rear steel braided line installed, but itās in.
Driver side took maybe 5 minutes.

I'm guessing you don't have the full length Jacking Rails? I do and am able to just barely get the rubber blocks at each end of it with an inch or two to spare. If you have the old short ones, yea those pinch weld blocks you showed should do the trick.I bought the Quickjack 5000TL from Costco on offer and as a bundle.
The jack came with pinch weld rubber blocks and flat rubber blocks. I found the Steeda rails were not long enough to have the blocks positioned on the Quickjack. I also wouldnāt feel safe under the car without some sort of U shape on the rails.
This was my first lift up, so will take a closer look this week to see what I can fabricate or buy to make a better job of it.
These would probably work, but Iāll make my own rather than paying out even more money. Iāll also look at designing something which may fit the rails.![]()
PM me and Iāll let you know which direction in go in the end.
