Two months late, but had the annual safety inspection done this afternoon. Now I need to change the oil and trans fluid, clear out some stuff in the garage and park it for a few months.

Thinking about snow birding it in FL with the Expedition for a month or more. I could rent a trailer and take it too...🤨

Yes, both are part of the Mach 1 “Appearance Package” which includes FJG paint (and is the only way to get it) and a little orange trim on the front seat backs.

I believe this is correct but I’m open to being fact checked. Before yesterday I didn’t know squat about the Mach 1 and don’t know a whole lot now.
Shes a beauty thats for sure, and the orange makes the car pop perfect 👌

If this

doesn't appear in your cluster, then they're off.
My cluster never shows that. I've never seen that. Probably because I've shut the DRLs off.

It might not show on non-digital clusters, if that's what you have. But I still thought it does, it shows on lot of Fords.
There's no indication for you having headlights + taillights on?

he's probably blind. :) I can look his car over. My 300A shows the green lights as soon as I rotate the knob from off to markers or headlights. I have no idea what it does in auto mode because I don't use that EVER. I am more than capable of remembering to turn my lights on and off.

I promise, I specifically looked for it yesterday. With the car running, I turned the light knob to every setting, and never got that green double light thingy.

I think it's because I shut the DRLs off in the menu.

Introduced her to Old Man Winter, but kept her inside where she's dry and warm until nice weather returns.

Damn dude! :D
I do keep it on auto, only in the dusk conditions I switch it to manual if it feels like the system should have the lights on and doesn't.

Again, this has nothing to do with your DRLs. DRLs are only fronts. They never turn on the taillights, which for lot of people is an issue in fog/rain especially on a busy highway.
If that symbol shows, you have front and rear headlights (or at least parking lights) on, hence why it looks like front and rear lights.

Amount of stupids I see driving around OH with lights off in rain/fog or permanent brights is staggering.

I'm not being facetious to you. Just complaining about shitty Honda Odysseys and Nissan Altimas with their brights on. Probably 2 most common culprits.
the lack of a dipped headlight warning light threw me when i got my GT. I'm sure every other car i've driven has this, toyota's nissan's Kia's? Maybe i'm imagining it

As someone that's gotten his driver's license in Europe (Czech), this control light is on all European models, but true that it is not on lot of American models, especially GMs and cars not made for export to different markets, for example.

I feel this is part of the reason so many people drive without their headlights on at dusk/dark around here - with backlit clusters (they used to be backlit only when at least your parking lights are on), they might be under the impression that their lights are on.
And then you of course get the idiots that see this
1668014882145.png
in their cluster and truck along blinding oncoming traffic. What scares me is that's a person that either doesn't care (dangerous) or doesn't monitor basic vehicle things enough to know (also scary).

I do apologize for the rant, but it's one of my biggest frustrations.

Damn hunk of metal in my rear tire. Gonna go to the place that installed my wheels and see if we can save it. If not I’ll have to get a new one.

I've noticed vehicles that are running a light bar on the front that instantly blinds oncoming traffic.

Oh yea, brodozers with offroad light bars and LED cheapo bulbs in a reflector housing are their own category. Might as well add truck nuts and you got the holy truck driver douche-trifecta

Look son, I know precisely what DRLs are.

I went and checked again. I was looking for that light symbol in the center screen. I've never noticed it in the tachometer. Never paid attention to it, but it's there.

Also, the word "again" should be used when you've stated the same thing earlier.
