Placed an order… I’m sure it will be like two weeks before I have it in my hands but I’m super excited.

Side note, does anyone have a steep driveway that required modification for a lowered vehicle? I have an idea but would like to have a confirmation from someone that has already fixed the issue. At stock height I BARELY clear pulling in and out at an angle, lowered will drag and I can’t have that…
You might want to consider something like this.

My driveway is pretty steep - my previous car, a 2008 Honda Fit Sport, would drag the nose if I didn't enter/exit at 45* to the street. My 18 EBPP would also drag the nose even at stock ride height if I didn't also go @ 45*. I have since swapped springs to GT350R parts, but that resulted in zero drop front or rear. I also added a PP2 lower splitter, and that cost me at least an inch in front - plus it's wider than the original splitter. I can't NOT drag now, so I added some Sliplo scrape protectors under the splitter and it made all the difference. It still scrapes, but the Sliplo is what touches the ground, not the splitter. The edge of my splitter still looks great.

Another alternative is how a guy a couple streets over gets his GT350 in his driveway. He basically dumped a bunch of play sand in the gutter - this really only works for him because he's at the crest of a hill and the sand stays put. The sand just fills in the transition from the gutter to the driveway by a couple inches, but that seems to work for him.

Fixed my magnaride strut. the electrical connector got crushed. FORD said $700 for a new strut. Some digging around lookong at connectors landed me at digikey.com and i fixed it for less than $2. New connector and pin terminals.

Nice!

It's kind of sad how little truly shops try to repair these days, it's always "throw out, in with the new."

Agreed. I dont blame the guy at the parts counter though. He cant sell me what he dont have to sell. After he told me he doesnt have the connectors and the bare strut itself was $700 i told him i was gunna start looking for the connector and he said "i would too"

Maybe a medium sized mom and pop shop would have done the connector but that was just another reason i dont like shops working on my ride.

Uniden R8 installed with tap kit. Getting the camera cover off and tapping is very easy. I decided not to use the blendmount.

Today I replaced the right front fender on my black 2020 GT. It must have taken a hit in a parking lot because there was a noticea bend in the wheel well lip. I got a local paint shop to paint a new one and I swapped them out. I bought a new 5.0 badge instead of trying to reuse the old one. I couldn’t find any tutorials so I had to puzzle it out by myself. I’m happy with the results.

That's funny. I installed mine about a week ago and went by the picture on the manufacturers website. Either way, it looks great..

Yeah, it's hard to see the difference ... but there is a difference. Either way, nobody will know with a glance and it looks OK either way.

If you look closely at the website photo, the trim plate isn't covering the lower LH corner perfectly. Here's a photo of the dead pedal without a trim plate, and you can see the upper RH corner is cut differently than the other corners.

Great DIY and fix!

Now you can charge M6G members who may have the same broken part only $698! 😁

Anyone ordered the link below from Amazon? Pretty sure it's the same as discussed here. Not sure if brushed or polished would match my other pedals better. Text says the brushed matches, but I'd describe my 2016 pedals closer to polished than brushed. Maybe use makes those somewhere in between.

That's exactly the one I bought, and when looking at it compared to the OEM pedals, the brushed isn't exact, but pretty close ... probably much closer than the polished trim plate would be. The photo in the post you quoted is the dead pedal with no trim plate installed. Looks kind of shiny because of light reflection off the plastic.

Yeah I tried that too but it didn't work out. Spent a lot of time fitting and cutting the heat wrap. But it wouldn't stay stuck to the plastic, especially during a track day. I gave up on it.

Thanks. If the polished is close to mirror it would definitely be too "shiney". But the picture of the brushed looks duller than my other pedals. Thanks for reporting brushed is very close to other pedals. Ordered that.

$500 but ordered. Better than the 2x8 I use currently. I’m tired of finding it half way down the street each time it rains. What’s the over under on days till some scumbag thief poaches it? It is 200lbs and 12’ long bolted together so that my slow a kid on a bike down.
