What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

The brake discs look finished to me. They are grooved and have a lip on the outer edge.

I can't afford to replace front and rears (inc. pads) since purchasing the Vortech kit. Would I be OK just replacing the rear discs and pads and keep the front stock? Or would I upset the braking bias too much? I plan to fit the EBC USR slotted rotors with their Bluestuff NDX track pads and then upgrade the fronts to match at a later date. What do we think? Would I be OK?

Replace just the rear discs now if you want. With ABS, brake bias really is no longer an issue.

You should have waxed those wheels.
Not like you didn't accomplish enough already.

I used a ceramic shampoo so figured that would be OK. I'd had enough by then lol. When I replace the discs I might wax them at that point. I have some Fusso wax which is good for 6 months or so.

Hey Cobra Jet, surprisingly it wasn't rolled lol. More of a head on driver side oriented crash to the wall that finished with a side swipe. Only the knee airbag went off. The car still runs, but I have a LONG road ahead of me to get it where it was.

What track? Irwindale?

I went thru some water and then tried to get em loose and they didnt, so thats a good sign. Of course after two weeks its stopped flooding, so have to wait for more rain to get a good idea.

Replaced the factory ignition coils with Pertronix units. Wiped and vacuumed the engine compartment.

Got the BMR rear shock tower brace driver's side bracket in and tightened along with the actual crossbar in place. Fine tuning and adjustment is coming soon. I took it for a preliminary drive for some takeout and already noticed the stiffer feel. Gotta get the back lowered and the Steeda subframe braces on...

Ordered the MMD Billet Aluminum Fuel Door; Black. Went back and forth trying to decide between that one and Drake fuel doors. A bit more pricey but I wanted without any logo.
