Why is the entire EPAS being replaced for just a sensor?? They can’t just replace the steering sensor? What am I missing here?I'm talking about the steering rack, for clarification's sake. The entire unit is being replaced.
While I typically try to DIY maintenance and repairs, I'm in a time crunch and haven't the time or energy to get it done myself...
Check to see if you crushed the windshield washer fluid hose on the passengers side,I did ,it got me when I did it.Installed proper hood struts and eliminated prop rod.

I see you are located in CT. Are you doing the install yourself or are you using a dealer to protect the powertrain warranty? I've been thinking about this mod too, but I want to keep my warranty active.Power Pack 2 has arrived...

I'm going to put it in myself I did it once before it's not difficult however I do not like playing with the software programs on the laptop even though it does go nice and smooth I did it on my 2017 and working slow everything took about an hour, dealer wanted 750 when I asked about it on my 2017... the way the EPA is coming down hard on all these tuners and modifications to emissions, EPA approval in the future could be nonexistent, may be a good idea to grab it while you can as Ford could just stop doing these all together.I see you are located in CT. Are you doing the install yourself or are you using a dealer to protect the powertrain warranty? I've been thinking about this mod too, but I want to keep my warranty active.
One last item dipped, since I didnt think it was worth $80 for an overflow cover. It should hold up to heat and if it doesn't I can always peel it off.Plasti Dipped the Roush coil covers. They are not an exact match to the car color, I wanted them to be more of an accent color. White base with a Blaze orange then a coat of peralizer and metal flake. I like the look of them and in the sun the metal flake really shows up. Best part with Plasti Dip- if I wanna go back to a plain black finish, it peels off so easy.![]()

Just a report back on the Anti-Gravity battery. I have been running the battery for about 3-4 months now and not one issue. I did an 1100 mile road trip in 80+ degree weather, I've run the car in 100 degree heat for about an hour (went to a car show). The car has sat for 2 weeks without being run and started fine, has sat other times for about a week and no issues starting. I did add MMD hood vents a couple weeks ago but no good pics. Will do, here is another thread with some feedback after running over a year now. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/just-ordered-antigravity-lithium-battery.104268/page-7
My feeling is, as long as it's EPA "compliant" or emissions "compliant", they have no issues with those products.the way the EPA is coming down hard on all these tuners and modifications to emissions, EPA approval in the future could be nonexistent, may be a good idea to grab it while you can as Ford could just stop doing these all together.
"Sin now and ask forgiveness later"I see you are located in CT. Are you doing the install yourself or are you using a dealer to protect the powertrain warranty? I've been thinking about this mod too, but I want to keep my warranty active.
