Installed the DD taillight sequencers and LED backup light. Also washed it and put the first coat of Ceramic Quik Detailer on it from Meguiars. It recently had ceramic based sealent installed. Car beads like nobody's business, and the black shines when clean.
is this the one where you spray in on while wet and then rinse off?
Any pics of your car after you did this?

I see you said you use a clay mitt. You're one of the few on here that I have seen that have said that. I have a couple of different ones and really enjoy using them. It makes claying so much easier and quicker, and I use it all the time to remove anything that I feel on the paint. So much nicer than dealing with sticky clay and your hand goes in the mitt for easy control. It's all I use now other than for doing the rims.
Sorry for the late reply :like:

I still use the clay bar, but only for the tight corners where I don’t want to force the mitt into for fear of marring edges etc. You can form the clay into shapes to get it right into gaps or right angles - the corners between the door handle and the door, the edges around the lights etc.

I use the mitt for the large flat areas which is where it really helps, for those areas it’s a ‘huge’ timesaver :sunglasses:

Hardwired my V1 to the fuse panel today. Used an inline phone coupler (as always) so the V1 can be easily removed leaving no wire hanging. I keep a small pigtail on the V1...

I did not take any sorry. The sealant is Jescar Power lock +, and then after I wash it I wipe it down with Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic Detailer. Keeps it shiny and it beads very well.

Technically not what I did today. I must be a bad influence on my next door neighbor. Who just happens to by my 78 year old Dad.
I got to welcome home my new brother today.

and you get to clean it... Or is it more a case of "son, sit the hell down and watch how it's done. you might learn something"
