Sorry for the bad 1st picture. I was cleaning the engine bay and found that blue rubberband. I took it off. Any ideas?

I found the same thing around the plug going into the fuse box. No idea why it was there, but I just tore it off.

Wondered if I would regret not getting the cooled seats and selecting the black roof … :whew:

Then remembered I live in the U.K. so everything will be OK for the other 364 days of the year … :cwl:

I know I piosted recently but since I have lowered, added wheel spacers, added darker tint and tuned to the VPM 100 Octane. (probably going to buy the E85 tune) But here is how it looks now.

That looks really good. Whats spacers did you go with. It looks like you could rub in the back. Does it?

These are 1 inch spacers and there has been no rubbing at all. It's close but so far so good.

I know that's extreme by UK standards, but it's still funny seeing 38C listed as "extreme high temperatures" :inspect:

It was 42C here the other day, mildly annoying but not too bad. But we're built for it, I suppose you guys aren't!

Makes more sense when you realize Manchester, England is about the same latitude as Edmonton, Alberta. :cwl:

Today I removed the stock Cold Air Intake and installed an Ingen EVO9202. It’s supposed to give me another 26HP without requiring a tune

. Install went smoothly. Now it’s time to play.

Oh yeah, it's definitely not a normal thing to set records like this there. Can't wait for our exciting future 😂

It's fun to take the piss though.

What you guys need to remember is the differences in humidity and dew point. SLC at 108f with a dew point in the 40’s and 50’s is much more tolerable then Manchester England with a temp over 100 and a dew point around 90. Plus almost all the homes and businesses there don’t have air conditioning. I know how that feels having lived in the Florida panhandle in 1970. Back then the only air conditioned place was the movie theater.

Oh one more thing. Right now where I live it’s 115f. Been like this for over a week and they say it will be at least another week before we get a break. But it’s a dry heat don’t you know. RIGHT!

Oh I know, I can't imagine how miserable it is over there right now given it's much more humid, and there's hardly any escape from it. I'm not even trying to be insensitive, it really is catastrophic heat over there. But I don't see the harm in joking around about it since that's all we can do :)

I've lived in a few different climates, desert heat is much easier to tolerate because you have shade and air conditioning.

Ikr? :) but yeah. We left with our two kids in the back seats. My 11 year old actually rode in the front most of the time until we dropped him off in NE and then we put my mother in law in the back for a trip to gulf shores from AR which is about 1100 miles round trip :) my wife slept in the back seat from Dallas to AZ yesterday with her feet in the center console.

Our 11 year old And my wife are about the same height at 5’8” and our 8 year old is 4’6. The passenger seat was slid forward to accommodate but it worked out well!

The trunk was another story cause it was a game of Tetris at every hotel stop!
Funny, the mother in law goes in the back!
