Yep, me too, took me what, almost two weeks from your notice? I kind of think it doesn't really matter as it probably would have sat there at Flat Rock over their vacation anyways.
Yeah, it really sucks too see all the late color orders, along with orders placed this year being produced or on the road.
Rant over, at this point I hope to have by my 51st birthday in September.

I told Jason that he needed to convey in the strongest terms possible to the new Ford regional rep just how ROYALLY PISSED people are at Ford and their inability to schedule 8 month-old orders or to provide any useful communication on the matter.

retail prices:

good set of wide flow-formed wheels $1000-1500
good 'summer' tires $1000-1500
spoiler $500-800
splitter $300-500
camber plates $400

Cost to Ford isn't remotely close to what you and I pay for retail. It was easily 2x overpriced to begin with. Now it's just sinful.
Missing a few things. Not to mention most folks will still put a quality tire on like PS4s and they are pricey. But sure it can be done on the cheap.

I hear ya, there is something to be said for possibly having an easier time with warranty on parts when they are OE vs added later (even by a dealer) but I agree that at the current price, IMO, it’s not a “check by default” item. Wheels and tires are one of the most popular way people personalize a car and although I really like the HP wheels it’s something I could see myself changing at some point. For someone that wants to pick out specific wheels and just wants the front lip and/or wing it’s a much better deal to skip the HP. For me, I just want a car I can take out to an autox/hpde or weekend back road and have fun with, living in a condo now it takes a lot more planing to get somewhere I can wrench on the car or paying $ to have a shop do something so I prefer it ready to go out of the box.

Trans & Rear oil coolers + cost to install (unless you do this yourself) - to me it is worth it as these also are included and all under warrantee (*Until I add all my power added parts - LOL)

coolers come on 600A trim w/o handling pack. I was just tabulating the retail equivalent of the Handling Pack vs Ford's option price.

You do know the “base” Mach 1 still have those right?

Difference between HP and base model are minimal.

Thank you @shogun32 & @320guy - I knew there was something else and thought it was coolers. Stand corrected - it was the rear sway bar that was different.

Also the EPAS & ESC tuning. I don’t know how much different it is.

In my case I won’t track the car. I might get the wheels and bigger tires later on, but other than that I rather have the PS4S from factory and deal with the changes when I have to replace the tires.

I also live in FL, I don’t need too much downforce from splitter and wing because we are flat and no fun curves.:crying:

but just imagine the down-force you'd have pointed into the wind during a hurricane.

you're right about no curves. yeesh I rode my motorcycle because well, even a bad day on a bike beats a day in the cage, but coming from VA it was mind-numbing.

Hahaha I use my garage for my cars. Also, that way nobody knows if I’m home or not.

Driving here is boring, unless you’re dealing with idiots slow in the left lane. I just want to hear the rumble, enjoy music and keep my mustang forever. Get to be the cool old guy with a car that zips gas, sounds good and has a classic mustang when things were getting electrified. Hopefully that’ll be me in 2050:rockon:

Can someone educate me, I’m in production and Anthony said it was last scanned on the 3rd in the body shop. Is that just part of the process or is it requiring addition work.
