I believe it went up twice, it’s $4k on my February order but currently its $4.5k on new orders. I think base price of the car also went up for all trim levels.

it means your car is slated to be built when they stated it will be built.

What defines a run/scheduling cycle?

find the scheduling chart here in this thread. they schedule builds thur and fri, but not every thur and fri. not every month either. it is complicated.

I got a quote from Granger on 2/15 where the HP was $4000. The pricing sheet https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/2022-mustang-4-under-invoice.166361/
Shows $3,750. Once I received the explanation, I moved on, $250 no big deal.
Decided to order from Chapman as they are an hour drive from me and I am a return customer (which seems to mean 0). Their quote on 2/16.included the price increase effective that same day bumping HP to $4,500.

Well, I just got pushed back from June 7th to June 17th production date with no email from Ford. I just found out today. This is just like when they canceled my 2021 order when my production date was a week away, no notification. I had to call Ford Performance today to find out if my vehicle was being built when I still could not see a window sticker. This is the stuff that drives me crazy. I have been patient and understanding about the supply chain and transportation issues for a year now. Those issues are regularly reported and in the public domain, but what I can't stand is that Ford does not have a Comunicacion Plan to its customers. I do not think I am asking much to keep me notified if there are changes to the production of my vehicle. Stuff like this makes me want to say I will take my money elsewhere. Get your act together Ford Communication's Team. This is in your control. Start communicating with your customers or risk losing business.

Go figure. I make it known on this forum about Ford's lack of notification and guess what I just received after the fact, "We have made an adjustment to the production date for your 2022 Mustang Mach 1.

Your vehicle is now scheduled to be built the week of June 13, 2022. We will continue to keep you informed regarding your vehicle's production status."

retail prices:

good set of wide flow-formed wheels $1000-1500
good 'summer' tires $1000-1500
spoiler $500-800
splitter $300-500
camber plates $400

Cost to Ford isn't remotely close to what you and I pay for retail. It was easily 2x overpriced to begin with. Now it's just sinful.
