Installed BMR jacking rails. Not a huge fan of the process tbh, the bolt holes are pretty rough so getting everything tightened up is kind of a bear. Have to take your time if you refuse to scrape seam sealer like I did (it wasn't that bad anyway). I can see why people break bolts doing this. In lieu of the bmr provided spec, I just went good and tight with blue thread lock.

You did what I would have done. Fortunately, the Steeda bolt holes were ok. I did use the longer stock bolts in the holes except for the one on each side that didn't have a stock bolt in it. I also used blue Loctite and wrenched it down ( or was that up) pretty tight.

At least I wasn't the only one, lol. It's especially tricky because the sealer yields as you tighten giving you a false feel.

New shoes on the rear. Fronts will be mounted one day next week.
Changed my mind from black lug nuts to chrome.
Black just kind of washed out the wheels.
I think I'll like a little bling to draw the eye to the wheels.
285/40-19 Michelin Super Sports on Forgestar CF5V in gloss black.
I have 265/40-19's for the fronts on 9/10x19.
Already loving the extra grip from the sticky 285's over the 255/40-19 P zero Nero's.
Borrowed a torque wrench from a local auto parts house and swapped out my lug nuts today.
Even dressed the tires. Satin NOT gloss.....😎

My Gorilla (61148BCX)wheel nuts came the other week. Finally had time today in the sunshine to fit them. So pleased. The originals were on their last legs, one in particular I had to hammer on a socket to get it off. I didn't do this to them but guessing past owner just wasn't careful.

Finally I can put them on / off with one type of socket (21mm) without them being all different shapes and sizes. 😁

Summer Forgestar's on with new blue center caps (darker than the VB, oh well) and new Gorilla chrome lugs. Can ANYONE figure out what style wheels I like? LOL!!

Not really an height concern, I am 1.73m. The issue is that there is a big GAP between the clutch pedal and the other ones when the clutch pedal is pressed all the way down (in comparison to other manual cars), and I do not like that feeling. With the extension added, when I press the clutch pedal, my left foot is not that far away anymore from my right one.
To expand on the reason:
A couple of years back, when I got my Mustang, there was a lot of traffic here about this. A major complaint with the 6-speed was that to work the clutch effectively, you had to drive with your seat brought all the way forward. You wound up with your knees and steering wheel against your chest. I sure was happy to learn of this solution here, though installation was a bear. Even when removing the pedal to install it. Trying to install it in the car was much worse.

Hello all. Well, my project for the past several rainyast days has been finding and fixing? dam leak on pass a pillar .I watched the vid about the paper hole plugs, went and looked at my car, yep, has em both sides and the pass top one sho nuff been letting water in.
I made a thin plastic circle same size as paper smeared with sealer and worked it in to the hole.
Hopefully that takes care of it.
I did take sealer on small brush and coater all of em ,so we shall see. Have a good afternoon. Dave F

Went to Cars and Coffee in Scottsdale AZ this morning with fam and friends and saw so many beautiful cars. Got to a’ride along side my dads old Supra that my Uncle owns now and it brought back good memories as always.
