@Chef jpd

Ah OK, I forgot you had that kit.

I noticed on their website the GT version wasn’t available yet - I wondered if you were a early tester or something :like:

Multi prong answer. I have the FP calibration kit that uses the gt350 throttle body and adapter. That clocks the TB to the left.

The Soler upgrade is for a Bullit, so, upside down throttle blade.

I also have the Soler throttle controller, which is fantastic.
Will report tomorrow on the triple whammy combination.
Looks like an impressive piece of hardware

Installed the 5 Spurs start button. I felt like this car should have a red start button, so I got one. Expensive. But great quality from a forum sponsor, so what the hell

Nice minivan, dude!

Kidding. I’m actually trying to convince Mrs. Yutani that an Explorer or similar makes more sense than our Volvo. I’m not winning though.
Thanks, I like it a lot and life circumstances made it necessary to get an additional vehicle that has cargo/towing capacity and lots more passenger space than a Mustang. My convertible isn’t going anywhere though.

Plus, trade-in value was significantly more than what I had paid for that Magnetic Mustang when I bought it… 4 years and ~50k miles ago.

Didn't have a good day chasing up my rear spoiler at the bodyshop after finding out they had a fire! 😟 So to cheer me up, I sent my vehicle info off to Steeda for a tune. Yey! 😁 Then I can fit their 2018 open induction kit. I'll stick it on the dyno as well to see what power she is making!

I would be very interested to hear how that goes - I think they are my best option for the 4:09 gear tuning in the UK (they have mastered what they need to do on some stateside cars) :like:

Thanks I'll post back with the results for sure. But that's good to hear! I just hope I picked the right options when submitting the info. I was a bit confused but picked North American 93 10% E for the petrol which I think is 99RON roughly. And then I also said the GT was a PP1 model which I think again, matches up correctly spec wise to UK GT. 🤔 Also mentioned the h-pipe and throttle body spacer but doubt that will have any bearing to the tune.

Make sure you watch the coolant level, when a 3.5 transverse water pump goes out, it's not a fun time.
Preach. I got a used 2017 F150 for the wife with the 3.5 ecoboost. Was consuming coolant, dropped in new pump and thermostat and still running way hot (but less coolant loss). Gonna do another thermostat again before I do head gasket.
The 3.5 ecoboost is a peppy little bastard but god damn if I haven't been battling issues left and right on it.

To be fair the F150 is a longitudinal 3.5, it's different. The water pump is external and mounted on the timing cover. On the transverse engines, Ford in their infinite wisdom mounted the water pump inside the timing cover in an attempt to save space and it's driven by the chain. So as you can imagine, if you ignore the weeping coolant on the ground long enough eventually the pump bearing gets so bad that coolant starts pissing into the crankcase. Many engines have died from that.

In your case you need to pressure test the system and use an endoscope to check the cylinders for coolant if you still have a mystery loss and hot engine temperatures. Hot running by itself could be a lot of things, but if you have no external coolant leaks then there isn't many other options besides a seeping head gasket or (worst case) a crack in a head or the block.
