Hopefully this can be a resource for members looking for drag wheel info moving forward. Lots of different variables considering wheel / tire size, brakes, rear spindles and springs.

This would be a great place to lay out your details and pics!

Front:
17x4.5 Weld V-series, MT ET Street fronts 27x6-17. Billet alum shank lug nuts. Cortex Racing 14mm spacer to clear base GT brakes. Outer edge of tire still .75in from being flush. Viking coilovers up front.

Rear:
17x10 Weld s76 beadlocks w/ polished ARP hardware, ET Street R 305/45-17. No spacer needed, base GT brakes. Fitment near flush at -1deg static camber.

At what point are ARP studs necessary on cars running drag packs? I am not opposed to doing this mod, but only want to go to the trouble, if it is absolutely necessary. I understand the need to run open shank or acorn style lugs (depending on the type of drag wheels) for track tech inspections, but are the stock studs long enough and strong enough to withstand hard launches at the 630+ rwhp/600+ rwtq level? Are studs a must on front runners? Thanks

Studs are required if track tech mandates the use of open end lug nuts. I personally always run studs and open end lugs.

Forgestar F14's - 18x5 with 28x6x18 MT Sportsman SR's and 17x10 with 305x45x17 Nitto 555R2's. I know it sits a little high, but with the Hellion Street Sleeper setup I don't want to lower it.

I like the bronze on the wheels. Did you powder coat them yourself?

Previous owner of these wheels had them done. I'm pretty sure its Bronze Chrome with a Casper Clear though. And yea, I absolutely love this bronze especially on my color car. I'm going to have my 20's done the same way.
