Camber was set at the maxed out OEM adjustment(to remove camber) and toe was set to zero based on my string alignment. Have not been to an alignment shop yet. Camber looks well under -2 degrees front/back and I was able to get away with not having to install the adjustable camber/toe arms I bought.

Finally got the notification.

My custom Work Meisters arrive on the 13th November!! Still trying to nail down what tires to run. Michelin PS4s have never led me astray however I do find their limit with how dialed my suspension and chassis is on local twisty mountain roads.

Mainly considering the Advan AD09's. Options for the rear is either a 295/35/20 or a 305/30/20....leaning on the 295 so I can have some more sidewall. Tread diameter isn't much different as AD09's run "wide" plus its a stickier compound.

The front is still up for debate. Leaning towards a 275/35/20 but of course have the option to do a 285/35/20 as well.

Might wait and see how aggressive the wheel sits at+25 offset given its a 20x10 wheel. If anyone has any input it would be appreciated!

Hi everyone,

Does anyone see any issues with this?

2018 GT 5.0 Performance Pack 1 tenspeed

Steeda Linear Drag springs 1.25" drop front & .5" drop rear.

Stock wheel

Front - 19x9+45 with 255/40/19 - 27" height

Rear - 19x9.5+52.5 with 275/40/19 - 27.7" height - .7" difference in height

Aftermarket

Front - 20x9+32 with 265/35/20 - 27.3" height - Calc shows 13mm / .51" further front strut equals 13mm / .51" more poke.

Rear 20x10.5+45 with 295/35/30 - 28.1" height - Calc shows 5.2mm / .2" closer to strut, 20.2mm / .79" more poke.

Height difference in .8" compared to .7" stock

I would like to 275/35 which will give me 27.6" height, however I am unsure about fitting a 275/35 on a 20x9 wheel

Thoughts?

General convention is you should change sidewall when you change diameter. So 255/35R20 would be my choice if I was going to pick a 9" wide wheel.

Further thoughts - I wouldn't be picking a 9" wide wheel. Makes no sense to stay with such a narrow combo up front imo. There's also nothing about this setup you're looking for that would be considered aggressive. I'd go 10.5 +45 square with some spacers up front.

Thanks for the reply,

I am not looking for an aggressive set up. Just to fill up the vertical and horizontal fender gap a little more.

Do you think 265/35r30 would work on the fronts? Or is that pushing it? Just wanted to make sure my set up wasn't to aggressive.

Why not go with a wider wheel to fill that gap, both vertical and horizontal? If I were spending the money for aftermarket, no way I would buy a 9" wheel. These cars can fit much wider in the front and rear and look great doing it.

I really liked the flow formed Aodhan AFF1's and they fit in my budget. I wasn't looking to spend a ton. Got the wheels for $380 a piece.

Aodhan AFF1 | Aodhan Canada | Official Canadian Distributor – Aodhan Wheels Canada

I use a drag pack when its race time. Just wanted something that was better than stock for driving around.

If you'll notice the title of the thread, you're barking up the wrong tree lol. I can't imagine 5mm front and back is going to make a huge difference. Wouldn't expect you to be lowered enough to make it an issue with the fenders.
