I am a moderator on Scionlife website. Who knows. Maybe I will oversee all you too. Bwahah. But I’ve been on nastyz28.com for 16 years now. I joined when I was 15 or so and I sold my camaro 1981 z28 when I joined army. (383 stroker, etc) the guy I sold it too totaled it a week later.

but I still continued on the forums. I just didn’t care for the Camaros after 78 to like 91. The shape after the iroc body style lost me

my cat passing is what made me want to reprioritize and get my things squared away. Miss the little bugger, now he’s gone. Gotta focus on myself.
Gf wants another cat, so we are talking about Siamese lynx point boy and girl kittens. This way the cat would have a friend
Make sure the buyer's SO can drive stick.

took some photos earlier detailing it. Nooks and crannies. Phone died though taking them.

im going to have to show him and express the important of emptying the catch can every 5-10k miles. 5k miles I get like a half a shotglass. I know its fine every 10k duration, but if he doesnt know about it, he may never do it.

when people get cars serviced at ford, do they empty the catch can? or ignore it. they may not even notice it.

You have it looking great. Hopefully, he will go through with the deal. With really good luck, you both have accounts with the same credit union. That would probably be the most secure transaction possible. He may have googled the price of sub and amp and see that you asking what was full retail for those and be a little hesitant to pay that. Either way, good deal.

I was retaking photos to make a better ad with my actual camera. it died though middle of taking photos, so didn't get any closed up car photos. boo. but here's some of the last photos il have! its in garage now since its clean.

I just detailed up the car a bit more over last hour. (after these photos) nooks and crannies. I want it to be clean for next owner. I cleaned up the trunk and woofer. little dirt. ignore that. but people have asked how I had the sub fit at some point, there's photo.

edit, im going to have to show him and express the important of emptying the catch can every 5-10k miles. 5k miles I get like a half a shotglass. I know its fine every 10k duration, but if he doesnt know about it, he may never do it.

750 is what I was asking, but I offered to take 100 off just to let him have it. He expressed concerns over getting approved/taxes.

Here’s the amp.

$250 before tax
https://www.crutchfield.com/S-HcJqqFGn7im/p_13698362/JL-Audio-JD500-1.html

sub
829 before tax
https://www.crutchfield.com/p_13693307/JL-Audio-CS112G-W6v3.html

both after tax 1161. Not bad. 650 imo or 750.

if he wants the trunk space I will remove it and sell it, Itl will sell. Just will take time. People love cheap end audio, takes the certain person to understand higher end stuff

toss a 200 dollar kicker on Craigslist for 125-150 bucks, it’s gone instantly., toss a 1000 dollar sub for 300, take a year. People don’t want to pay higher amounts generally.

they miss out though and that one guy comes along and gets a great deal

Imho.

I used to be all about kicker and alpine cheapest subs, no way I’d pay id of paid 800-900 for a sub. I was super happy with what I had back then… but now that I’ve experienced higher end stuff, couldn’t do it again.

Edit. It’s too large for my gf’s Sonic. I’ve thought about tossing it in her hatch area but she wouldn’t have trunk area left. Poor hatchback has no room.

Unfortunately. I have usaa and he has a credit union. So usaa said keep the car til check arrives and clears then hand him the keys.

hesgoing To ask his union if they can overnight the check or wire it. I have no idea on protocols though.

just that he had me ask my bank for a 15 day payoff letter and usaa faxed it earlier to hiscredit union tomorrow. Then he finds out his limit loan approval stuff

I definitely understand. Remember, we have the same subwoofer :) It is just that people tend to balk at the price we paid for a high-quality part.

Ha my friends think I’m crazy for buying JL stuff, let alone their higher end audio. But I love it!
I’m glad you do too.

Audio is weird. If you're used to factory sounding stuff it's okay. Then you hear the Alpine setup and now factory sounds like trash. I imagine it goes even further the higher up you go. Took years to get readjusted to factory sound after going through my upgraded audio phase in previous cars.

you DO KNOW there is a 'Showcase" section for posting detailed and unending stream of pics of your car? Especially now that it's no longer going to be yours?
