I hadn't driven it in about a week because....well it has been raining and the other car was already dirty. I took it out yesterday in between rain showers. I merged onto the interstate from the onramp and noticed I was at about 120 at the same time that I got a KA to the rear alert on the detector. I quickly backed out of it and some guy in a Malibu decided to pass me and almost ran a truck off the road passing him as he zipped in and out between cars. The blue lights lit up and the cop flew by me to stop the Malibu. I sure hope he didn't get a ticket for speeding at 120.

Of course not the greatest because I didn't have time to really clean it yesterday so I did what I could after work today. Not perfect but better than before. I'll learn one day. Without smudge or fingerprints. I got a lot to learn :)

I still smile at how easy it is to merge onto the interstate and look down and see you are in 3 digits mph wise.

Wow. 3,000 pages here.
I guess I tried searching, but not much luck.

Has anyone put in better DRLs? The tri-bars are so dim even when everything is off (which should be their brightest setting)...

Today I forgot how to parallel park and fucked up another wheel. I go 10+ years without messing up a wheel, to curbing two in 3 weeks. This one is so much worse. 😡

Is that a tire gouge there too?

2 day detail routine completed, new wheel/tire combo was delivered but the lugs were forgotten, double coat ceramic waxed the wheels, ordered Gorilla small diameter lugs, swapped the center caps, got the wheels on the car, shined the tires, and adjusted the pressure.

Went from OEM PP1 setup to a 19x10 square with 285/35/19 tires. I expected something aggressive but it almost looks “monster truck-ish” to me now. Alignment is correct and everything is as it should be but definitely a different look.

Yeah, the 35's are kinda big/tall to me. I know they fill the wells better, but I'm going to 30's when these Nitto's wear down.

I put a layer of gold heat reflective tape on the bottom of the air box. Will report if it makes any difference in heat soak......
