I just like driving that's all. I'll wake up early Sundays, get dolled up and just drive all day. No destination
Before all the morons hit the road. A little coffee and out the door. Smart girl.

The first time you cleaned the car in a year?
My car sits outside 24/7/365 and until recently maybe went to the automatic car wash once every 3 months or so. I've had bird poop on the roof for several weeks at a stretch.

and yet she won't come out to the official M6G NoVA chapter 7am car wash...And we have that exact foam sprayer and 2 kinds of soaps to choose from, some very effective wheel cleaner, and a gentle shower of de-ionized water for that final rinse.

And i just bought a big gallon of white vinegar. You're missing out on @NoVaGT invaluable cleaning and waxing advice and talent demonstration. Trust me, I've never seen so much wax used on so little square footage. And the streaks to match. :)

Girls' gotta have priorities I guess. sniff 😭

I go 10+ years without messing up a wheel, to curbing two in 3 weeks. This one is so much worse
I got a line on some Motegi MR126 in black or white, flow-formed 19x9.5 for $100 each. Sounds like you need some training wheels.

I appreciate the offer...asshole. LOL

I was going to get the rear one fixed. But now that I fucked up the front, I may just hold off in case this likely happens again.

Are the hours or miles a typo? Almost 1000 miles in 8 hours would mean an average of almost 125 MPH.

If true, you are my hero.
Yep 998 miles to be exact. Was going to drive to NC, made it to the state line then changed my mind went to VA Beach, Norfolk, and drove some more. Then drove back home I did reset the miles driven after I filled up at the state line so I'll say about 10-11 hours.

I ended up in Oxford MD today. Had to pick up a friend in Annapolis. She's never seen the bay bridge so I took her over that and we just kept going East. Good drive. Zero traffic. Ended up a ferry landing then headed back to DC.
