2 day detail routine completed, new wheel/tire combo was delivered but the lugs were forgotten, double coat ceramic waxed the wheels, ordered Gorilla small diameter lugs, swapped the center caps, got the wheels on the car, shined the tires, and adjusted the pressure.

Went from OEM PP1 setup to a 19x10 square with 285/35/19 tires. I expected something aggressive but it almost looks “monster truck-ish” to me now. Alignment is correct and everything is as it should be but definitely a different look.
Pics?

Yeah, the 35's are kinda big/tall to me. I know they fill the wells better, but I'm going to 30's when these Nitto's wear down.

I put a layer of gold heat reflective tape on the bottom of the air box. Will report if it makes any difference in heat soak......

seems like a healthy amount of poke. Offset and camber?
The wheels are 6gr with a +35 offset. I will need to dig out my alignment sheet to recall the exact camber but it was all within spec for the recommendations BMR provided for a street setup with their handling springs

Haven't driven it in almost 3 weeks now because of the crappy summer we've been having so far. Rainy summer.
But, she is all nice and clean though. :giggle:

really? heat cycles etc wouldn't it open up?
Nah. The only time sidewall damage is critical is if the sidewall is bubbling because the inner steel structure is broken, or you can actually see the belting. Just my opinion though. Can replace it anyway for peace of mind.

Exactly. The damage is worse in the pic. It's no more than 1mm maybe 2mm deep. It's cosmetic. Still makes me mad at myself tho.

You basically need a new mustang now…and to show us pics of it.
