Hi all.
Over the last couple of weeks I’ve noticed that when firing up the engine the bark from the exhausts isn’t quite as ferocious as it was before, particularly when starting up from cold. I’ve checked to see if I accidentally activated the quiet exhaust mode but I haven’t. It’s not massively quieter in reality but its just lost that a bit of bite. It’s due it’s first service next month so I’ll get them to check everything then. Is this something anyone else has experienced before?

Just get them to check the active exhaust valves (they can stick) and the wiring (it can chafe).

In all fairness you could be absolutely correct - the ambient temperature even in the UK has gone up over the last couple of weeks.
1. Your imagination.
2. It's not very cold out anymore. It's summer.

Thanks - good shout. I’ll ask them to check just in case.

Yep. I'm betting weather conditions. If something is wrong with the active it'll throw a code.

It's 80 degrees here and mine is loud as hell. The difference though is I am not stock. :like:

Plus one for weather. My cold starts are way more brutal in the winter. Hopefully you don't have a real issue op.

Every time I start mine I yell roll tide since they are basically 3" straight pipes

Yeah 20*F cold starts vs. 80*F cold starts are vastly different in the cam timing directly after start-up. That is what causes that very nasty loud start up. Mine is much quieter since summer has hit. I rather like it as the Borla exhaust is stupid loud on those very cold start ups. I don't like to be the guy waking up my neighbors.
