Youāve probably found a place by now, but on my previous GT I got them done at this place in Croydon, South London. A bit of a schlep for you but they did a decent job for a very good price. They took my car in and I picked it up the next day...
Over here in the Uk (and I presume the rest of Europe) the choice between a Mach 1 and a Dark Horse is more clearcut in my view. Whilst I donāt mind the look of the Dark Horse (although Iāve yet to see one in person) the fact that the power is castrated so much by the nanny environment...
Thanks for the responses everyone - really appreciated. Completely understand that a lot of you will change your oil far more frequently than annually but itās not something Iāve ever done previously and the vehicle has never advised me to do it outside the normal service schedule either, hence...
Has anyone had the situation where their āchange engine oil soonā message popped up when the oil was only changed 6 months/6,000 miles ago? I drive a mixture of local and motorway roads.
My car was serviced back in May by a Ford dealer where the oil was supposedly changed. Then at the weekend...
Since I got the car, Iām averaging 24.7 combined on the trip computer (UK spec auto). Thatās a combination of motorway and local roads but where weekly mileage is usually 70% motorway miles.
Funny you should ask that as they pretty much all showed up overnight, which I thought was a bit strange. Well, I say āovernightā but it was certainly within a week as I noticed it after I washed my car and they hadnāt been then when I previously washed my car a week or so before. Itās just on...
Thanks - thatās good to know. Whilst my car is two and half years old itās still within warranty so Iām hoping whatever it is and whatās caused it Ford will sort it out. However, I know how these things can sometimes go as they do like to wriggle out of things! I also have the ceramic coating...
Iām not 100% sure. Iām the second owner but Iām not aware the bonnet has been resprayed but I can check. There arenāt any obvious signs it has though.
The bubbles are soft(ish) - theyāre certainly not really hard at any rate. So I wouldnāt have thought it was corrosion but I obviously donāt know for sure. Worth raising it with the dealer though.
Hi everyone.
Has anyone had an issue with bubbles forming on any of their decals? I noticed the other day that a few, albeit small, bubbles have formed on the bonnet stripe decal. The edges donāt look damaged or lifted (e.g. by a pressure washer) and I canāt see any damage to the decal...
Thatās a lot of dough for potentially a left hand drive car. Still, people will probably pay it. It wouldnāt be so bad if it was a direct import from the US pumping out 500 brake but if itās Euro 6 then it obviously wonāt.
Tricky one. I can only imagine that a large part of your purchase of a Bullitt was based on the way it looks - i.e. it echoes the look of the McQueen Mustang from the film which, if memory serves, didnāt have a spoiler on the back. So on that basis, why would you want to change it?
However, i...
As I think weāre coming to the conclusion is that in the UK there doesnāt seem a lot of benefits of going to a DH from a M1 and a helluva lot of downsides. I was keen to get into a DH myself in a year or so but it doesnāt seem to be a worthwhile āupgradeā from my M1 with the things that matter...
Iām really disappointed with the power output of the UK Dark Horse. At 446 bhp (453 ps) that is significantly less than the US version and barely any more powerful than the GT here (439 bhp / 446 ps). I completely understand that due to EU emission laws the power output will always be less than...
Fair enough if the dealer replaced the bumper - not sure weād get that from our dealers in the UK! Most would use a company like in the link below. These are the sort of repair specialists we get in the UK that I was referring to. There are loads of them, some privately owned, some franchises...
Am I looking at this right in that you had your bumper taken off just to repair (what looks like) those minor scratches?!? Fair play to you, proper job and all that, but that must have cost. Donāt you have mobile SMART repairers in the US that come to you and do an invisible repair on the...
