Looks like it could be a good piece.....minus the shitty casting flash.

Is extrude honing still a thing? Meh, a few hours with the burr will fix it....

Nice! :)
I must be living under a rock......I didn't even know Edelbrock had an aluminum Victor 5.0 intake.
Seems like its debut in was over shadowed by price and the polymer manifolds from ford. With everything that Edelbrock went through recently, they may scale back on part numbers. This intake may not be made again.

Test fit to see what else need to be removed from each runner. We can see what needs to be corrected here. Once the ports at the head is done, time to move all the way through.

This is giving me horrific flashbacks of having 40+ hours tied up in meticulously porting a pair of cylinder heads....

Going fast is a lot easier when you have the skills to do work yourself. I’m a little jealous.

I selected the Edelbrock based on runner length as it relates to my application. Centri blower, 314cid, 4c converter, 3.55 gear, transbrake etc. I figured it was longer than CJ and other billet manifolds, but shorter than 2018 for a good compromise of mid/high rpm performance. Cost was a factor also. I needed aluminum and wanted to run the stock TB, Edelbrock it is. Few pics that helped me with the Edelbrock choice.
