Thanks Earl. I missed the seized part.Posted by the OP.
Per dealer right now: "It looks like the engine is seized. We are going to start tearing it down to see what caused it"
Yeah, I wouldn't "mess" with jumper or anything else. The car is clearly under warranty unless you somehow put over 36,000 miles in a year.Dad's 2020 GT500
Kind of think a failed sensor of any kind would not keep the engine from cranking. Sounds like the engine won't crank at all.As a best case scenario, it almost seems to be symptomatic of a failed camshaft position sensor.
Dealer already said engine failure, even though they haven't scoped it or took apart yetI had similar problems with my 2015 eco-boost. The dealer told me I was not driving the car enough. The one time it would not start I had just driven 40 miles,. Each time it happened I had the AAA come help me. I took it back to the dealer; I was told they had to "check the drainage of the battery". I no longer have that car, but with hindsight what I need was a new battery
Yep, I had a feeling. Best of luck for a quick turnaround buddy.Update
per dealer: "a spring failed, and a valve dropped in cylinder #5. New engine will be here in 5-7 days (including supercharger)"
