19lbs out of the rotating assembly. That in itself is awesome.

You gotta read a little bit more into it, it's not going to be anywhere near that for the Coyote.

Heck, the stock Coyote rods only weigh 10lbs all together.

The people spending 10k, minimum, on a set of rods are people who are not concerned about a warranty.

i would be a little concerned about wear from the rod journals. Not mustang related but i'm actually in the process of designing a carbon fiber rod for a briggs lawn mower for fun. I did buy some replacement metal journal bearings for wear purposes. Although i am just using sheets laid ontop of eachother instead of forged cf like they are. Based on my current cad model that was 3d printed, it wont be any lighter than the cast one but i am going for strength.

Actually the very people that would buy these would absolutely want to have some type of guarantee they won’t come apart and completely turn the rotating assembly and block and heads in to scrap metal. It’s interesting that no where on there site, that I could find, maybe I missed it, there wasn’t a reference to any in use. There cool no doubt, but it would be even cooler to seem them in use in something.

Manley has no warranty of any kind. In fact most performance parts have 0 warranty

Neat idea, but I’m not sold! If you want light weight and strength.. just forge them out of titanium! IMO!

No, but what they do have is a track record for decades.

Spending 10k on rods, plus another 30k on the rest of the engine, then having that possibly turn into a $100 pile of scrap metal is a tough pill to swallow.

And all those decades started with day1. If everyone thought like you then new company’s would have 0 chance

You willing to be the first? They may have a great product, but they themselves don’t have it in functioning test bed to demonstrate. As for the reference to Manley, there not Manley by any stretch at this point.

Pretty sure Manley's first set of forged H beam rods did not cost 20x as much as the next best set on the market.
