I did not see a thread about this so I thought this would be a neat poll to see who daily's the beast or saves all the wear and tear for fun.

I drove mine for work for almost a year. Had one semester of college left (4.5 miles one way) and then 5 miles for work now. Saw sweet deals for a 250cc bike so I got that to daily for work, the gym, or the grocer. Eventually that bike will be put away and I'll take my wife's Corolla so she can get some sort of truck or SUV.

I had a winter beater when I had my 13 GT. It was a money pit and my GT just sat unless it was nice out. I still managed to curb rash one wheel. I daily drove my 15 GT for 3 years in Chicagoland. Even after 3 winters that car was in the nicest shape of any i had traded in. My 20 that I got in May already has a small dent. My wife's 17 Focus RS that she daily drove but we purposely didn't take on trips or anywhere questionable was immaculate until some idiot in a maintenance truck backed into her at speed. Now it's totaled. We both wish we had enjoyed that car more while we had it.

If I had a GT350 or 500 I'm not sure I could daily it. Mach 1 on down I'm going to enjoy as much as I can.

Bought my '18 EcoBoost Premium convertible with the intent to drive it daily and I do. 60 miles round trip 5 days a week. Plus numerous after work and weekend drives. And 5 trips of 300 to 500 miles in the last year. Bought it used with 30k on the clock and it's sitting north of 50k now. I LOVE TO DRIVE THIS CAR and intend to keep it as long as it keeps going and I expect 200k+ out of it.

I actually feel sorry for those who buy a Mustang and let it sit in a garage. What a waste...

I daily my 2018 GT and couldn't be happier. It's pretty damn good on gas too. Averaging 21MPG! :like:

I put 51K on my 15' EB as a daily from 3/2015 though 8/2017. Bought the 19' GT/CS 3/2019 and just crossed 6k. Retirement and COVID-19 do not add up to a lot of miles.

Yep, daily it, stick shift and all. Its honestly the best daily I can think of. It's quiet and comfortable when you want it to be, but rowdy and fun when you don't. MPG isn't bad even, I average 21 combined.

Also, life is too short to drive a boring car. Miss me with that shit. Having a fun ride for your daily commute makes it much more tolerable, and if I die tomorrow I won't have any regret about leaving the good times stuck in the garage.

As a division manager where I work I'm required to be in a company vehicle which happens to be a nice unmarked F150. I'm also on call 24/7 so the truck has to go home as well. So my 'weekend car', the Mustang, has been 22K miles in 16 months. Weekends rock!

I quess it’s a daily.

I’ve got a Truck, Harley, Mustang , wife’s Subaru, bycycle and I like to walk so they all get a turn. I’ll take any vehicle to work weather permitting. Wife’s Subaru is for walking the dog on rail trails. Her car is filthy anyways so why take the dog in a clean car.

I'm w/ice445. Before the 16, had 2 different 2003 Cobra convertibles, both with 2.3 whipples. All got used as DDs. Not DDing in a slow, boring car.

That said, I do understand why a winter beater is almost a necessity if you live in snowville. Not a launch control made that can help on glare ice, and drag radials are a no go below about 20 degrees. @5.0AVP, I hear ya.

i live in Michigan and I’ve had mustangs as my daily drivers since 2007. They aren’t too bad in snow but forget it on ice. That said I am planning on keeping my wife’s old Mazda for this winter and not risking it with my new GT in shit weather.

Yes. New to the Mustang world and just look for reasons to drive it. The honeymoon is going on 3 weeks and still smile firing her up.

No. Not a daily.
Matter of fact, the car is hardly ever driven.
4 years and it has 12,000 miles on it.
Most of them are driving to pick up my Grandson.

He gets all my and his Gramma's stuff when we pass on; so
the less miles on the car the better.

I did buy him a '14 Grabber Blue Mustang.......... his & mine......

We don't get much snow in the valley here, so I'm gonna see how the car does on snow/winter tires. If its terrible im gonna get another beater, lol. Can't wait to do donuts in snowy parking lots.
