It's true that they're no longer hosted on that site. However, use the download tool they have listed there, whatever the most recent version of the tool is on the site. Right now, it's 2.0. It'll download your desired version of Sync from the official Ford links and once the download has completed it will automatically prepare the USB Drive ready for you to insert into your car. It pretty much makes this fool proof, preventing user error from wrongly formatted or partitioned USB drives.

Count me in as a 3.4 user! I had already swapped a MY16 sync3 screen and apim previously to get CarPlay working. I used the instructions listed to take mine from 3.0 to 3.4, which is something that ford would never allow. Everything works as it should with my nav maps updated and 3.4 feels a lot more responsive. I did not do any apim firmware update.
Can you say what 3.4 version you are currently running? I have read that the last two versions are having usb issues.

Ok, I saw your post further down about the version you have.

I’m on Build 20021 and haven’t noticed any issues yet, but I’ve probably driven less than 200 miles since the update.

I just updated to the new 3.4 build v20021 yesterday. Maps has also been updated to v1.19.
Have you noticed any USB problems that some have complained about with version 20021? Lastly, I downloaded version 3.4 19274 tonight and the whole thing went on one 32g USB stick. Thought you needed two sticks for nav cars? I did configure with Nav.

I went from 3.0 to 3.4.20021 several months ago. I have had no issues of any kind with the functionality of Sync. The only thing i notice is the speed limit data for the 2019 maps has a lot of errors in the area i live. The original 2015 maps that came with the car and the 2018 maps i upgraded to last year were much better.

I just went from build 19101 to 19200. First difference I noticed is Audio->Browse->New Search button is disabled when the car is moving using build 19200. Build 19101 Audio-Browse->New Search button is enabled while moving. Are there any builds greater than 19200 where the New Search button is enabled when moving?

Hi Rich. You might want to check the post just before yours and reach out to Dave about the search button. :)

Thanks for the reply. However, I don't understand how Dave's response just before my post helps me. It seems he was asking about map speed limit data. I am asking about the Media Search functionality not being available when the car is moving using Build 19200.

You asked if there was newer version after 19200. There is. It is 20021. Dave can tell you about the search bar in the latest version. Unless I’m missing something.

Hi Rich, It sounds like we are saying the same thing just in different languages. :) There is a build greater than 19200. It is 20021. Dave has 20021. You can ask him if the search button is enabled or not.

So
19101 - Enabled
19200 - Disabled
20021 - ? (ask Dave)

Does this sound about right?
