What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

I have a JL Stealthbox that’s a 12. I loved it but my friend had double 12’s after hearing that I wanted a little more.

It’s a double 12 box.

I listed the 12 for sale in ad section for anyone who may be interested.

I went with front a facing set up , amp and stuff in the spare tire area . If the trunk is open can't see anything . But nice install .

I have a 1 inch spacer between rear seat bracket and shelf. So there’s a 1 inch gap between seats and shelf, it lets all the bass pass, no rattles. It’s same as having seats down.

Thanks , sounds like a nice set up . Since bass is a none directional sound I keep the seats up . The only rattle is the license plate frame lol .

I just got some wood, layered it with black vinyl, made it thicker plush on purpose, pushed it between sub and shelf. Not moving an inch. 7 bucks total and have tons of black vinyl left

I just put a drop of super glue on the ends where the flap was up a little. I am super happy with how it turned out and it safely secured the sub box from tipping or sliding View attachment 473267

I put ensolite behind the license plate, it’s a foam. I just made a rectangle like slightly smaller than actual back of plate and doesn’t rattle.

Google ensolite self adhesion. I bought a ton because I use it on all kinds of stuff, great for putting between plastic to plastic contact items, no rattles.

Edit go to hobby lobby and buy black vinyl, half is furry other half is like leather, this would work too. I paid 7 dollars for a massive ass sheet. This is what’s remaining for me from my project

Just toss a little glue behind onto the plate Furry side against car or it may not matter, just needs cushion from rattling.

Thanks :-) - I took her for a late night spin yesterday, and got some more first impressions. Feels so much more solid, planted (it's a cliche, but I got no other words). Turns with more purpose and way less sway, and zero wheel stutter when merging onto a freeway, unlike before, even with the PS4Ss. Even the clumky, noisy rear powertrain makes way less sillly noises now. Wife noted the increased stiffness and bumps - I told her this is the price of chasing the dream :-D

I'm very happy with the FP Power Pack I recently got, but this upgrade made a much bigger impact in immediate feel.

You can do better than that on the G meter depending on the road quality, but its stressful above .9g on actual roads you need good quality surface and good temperatures and warm tires etc.

Installed a set of PowerStop Z26 carbon ceramic brake pads front and back. Waiting for weather and opportunity to get out and break them in. Hopefully everyones comments on how brake dust is reduced are true.

Took mine for a much needed drive tonight after supper. GLORIOUS!
Not many people on the highways and the sun was still out. I'll be taking her out again tomorrow morning.
Monday will more than likely be detailing day. lol

I went for a drive to Hilton Head, SC. There was lots of traffic out and about but still a good trip. I also had a first. My miles to empty has never shown above 211 since new. I guess those 55-65 mph speed limits on 4 lane country roads do make a difference on 4 lol.
