For the guys getting the gurney flap as an add on are you getting oem or aftermarket Anderson composites? What’s the best price on oem? Appears to be around $800. Oem is available within 3 days and the Anderson one is 9-12 weeks and have to pay now. Vivid racing offers free shipping and it’s about $520 total.

Sure you can just as you always could. Will it meet the same performance criterion as the original fastener? Likely not.

Yup, that’s LITERALLY all you have to do. . . “Excuse me, Mr. Hardware store man. I need a screw for a thing on my car. Can you go get that for me?”

For the record, I think there are wayyyyy more ridiculous threads in existence on these servers ;)

... unless you never had the screw the begin with.

I give a shit, and I’m guessing the majority of the other dudes here do too. Details matter.

Take out one of the short screws and ask for one a little longer. There are plenty of fastener companies online.
Pretty sure you can find it if you spend some time.

Recommend Lethal Performance over Vivid. Much more reliable.

I was thinking of putting mine on for the hell of it. Will it hurt anything just putting around town?

By the way, here is the bag the screws came in, it is not opened yet so these are "the screws"

Yeah, this thread has outlined some pretty good solutions. I have something fairly close to original headed my way now.

I have mine mounted and it will stay on. No issues with running with it.

Nice, you got the correct size in the bag.

Won’t hurt anything except possibly gas mileage.

Yeah it might hurt you going through the chic-fil-a line... I'd hate for your to have too much rear downforce there... could be an absolutely terrible calamity.

I find it amazing that people take the time to actually read and then post on a thread they think is ridiculous... especially one that is 7 pages long. All that time wasting on something ridiculous could've been spent somewhere else while being useful to someone/something else.

I blame it on the covid.

I appreciate the thread as I'm contemplating adding the handling package to my order.
