Just put the m.t street radial on my car with the m.t streets up front. It’s night and day difference from the pilot sports I had on before.its not my daily though but I will say the rear hooks like glue now

Anyone have a tire recommendation for 600 WHP? I’m not there yet. Still waiting on blower but want to be prepared.
Still have stock rims that have are 8 inches wide. Looking into SVE wheels.

No track use. Wknd street car. Would like to keep stock wheels if possible.

Hi Everyone,

I have pretty much decided on a Whipple or a Kenne Bell Supercharger for my 2018GT PP1. This will ONLY be a fun street bruiser with very few track runs as it is a convertible. What tires are you all running? My STOCK car already pushes the traction limit in some gears under full acceleration and I am running 275 Michelin Pilot Sport 4s's in the rear. What are you SC cars running to be able to use most of this power? My car is a daily commuter/ cruiser (although my commute is only 5 miles or so). I know I can fit 305's on the rear with a wider wheel...
I run Nitto 555Rs on my car. They work great on the street and the track and if I get caught in the rain I don't have to worry about losing the car! I can get you hooked up on a set of them here at @LethalPerformance! Shoot me a message if you have any questions or would like to place an order!

555R’s all day for street and strip use and even though an R compound it doesn’t wear out as fast as others and is pretty competent for a drag radial in rain.

Really? I can go sideways in 2nd gear with E85 and no blower with these tires... lol. I think I'd die with a supercharger.
Ain’t no one doing 2nd gear pull on the street with a blower without a drag tire haha. They are okay in 3rd (manageable slip with a little driver finesse) and 4th hooked pretty decent in 50 degree weather for me with a 10R80 car. When it’s warm, 3rd pulls are goooood.

Nt555g2 are crap and dangerous. Just when you need them to hold they will let go. Don’t ever let your guard down with them. If it is even a little wet then you are better off walking. Also they will not last more than 10,000miles even if you baby them. I would go all season or full track tire. Ether a tire that lasts or one that performs. Can have both

I run the crappy stock tires in the winter just because I dont drive the car as much but in spring/summer I switch to Drag Radials. Drag radials are really a mucg on a car with this much power. I rune MT ET Street R's 305/45/17 - they are the best out there for traction. I run the Nitto NT05R's on my Cobra and I find the MT are better.
