Another question @V00D00

So will the GT500 move/drive at all with both feet off the pedals?

You know like a automatic will go 3 mph or so in drive without pressing the accelerator.

Ehh. I dont recall, but i think scenario dependent. Dont recall a hill assist.
I think, on flat ground, if u come to a complete stop and both feet off, car will sit still

Did anyone else get to cruise around Vegas in a GT500 with Jim during the Track Tour? :inspect:

1.70 or 1.79?

Man that ET will drop to 10.0's easy with traction and tire if the dct can take more rpm.

Question... what happens when you foot brake this thing?
I just picked up my brand new Redeye widebody last week...Still breaking it in...Out the door for under 75K...MSRP was over 83K...I will be at Atco next spring when it opens in March/April to race..I can assure you I will be going 10.2 all stock on just a drag radial...At least 10.3 all day long...With addition of skinnies 10.1's.

By the way I had a custom all steel fully functional street 1968 Camaro that I built and went 10.10 at 133 mph naturally aspirated on 100% 93 octane...I also had a 1969 Camaro that I custom built that did 11.05 naturally aspirated on 93 back in 1993...I also had one of the very 1st produced 5.0 coyote Mustangs when I got my Kona blue 2011...I kept it stock and did 12.80 at 108...I traded that car for a new Deep Impact blue 2013 Mustang GT premium that did 12.55 at 110 mph stock then did 10.83 at 129 with a Roush blower drag radial aluminum driveshaft and magna flow cat back on 93 octane.

Presently I do have a 2014 Coyote 5.0 Ford F150 4x4 and I was a bit of a Mustang fan that got pissed with Ford doing the jerk job on the release of their GT 500...For the price and availability I switched brands...To be honest I am an old school muscle car guy at heart and I think the Challenger look is better for my taste...I do still think the GT 500 is totally bad ass and a beautiful car...I would own 1 if I could along with my Redeye...I am a fan of American muscle and I hate imports...I have been into drag racing almost 30 years and wrenched on many cars...Racing a redeye to low 10's after driving old school muscle cars with manual brakes , manual steering , and manual valve body autos will be a joke for me...I even had a 1992 fox body Mustang that ran 12.9 with me driving a 5 speed manual...That was 1 of 2 custom built cars by Big Daddy Duane Gutridge of Outrageous Mustangs...Almost forgot that one...So if you are questioning my car racing credibility well there you go.
Grudge race bitches. Loser buys bear. Oh and I’ll take one to. Sorry couldn’t help myself.:giggle::lipssealed:

Buying you a beer is cheaper than voiding my warranty to beat you.
:like:I’m always up for free beer. Getting to watch you and voodoo go at it. Will just be icing on the cake.

@BSB Honestly dude, I love __love__ the Redye, I require a convertible, but if went coupe it would be tempting - the wife's ride is a Race Red Durango R/T :D

Sounds like fun...

One thing for sure if weather permits and you can run your GT500 in January at Atco , you will set the new record pass with your car....That would steal some of that speed phenom's thunder...Disgusting that kids stealing the GT 500 thunder like he is...He has no business owning a car like that...I tried watching his videos and had to mute the volume...He is so damn annoying...

You and other Ford guys should have gotten that car 1st...As a former Mustang owner and big fan of the new GT500 , I know the passion Mustang guys have for their cars...Everyone should have got their cars together.
That was always the plan, and was almost there with my original build date. Color choice threw that out the window
