***Urgent*** Check Clutch Line At Brake Master Cylinder

I'll be doing that tomorrow, I ordered the wilwood 7oz reservoir, I'm gonna be mounting it on the back side of my air intake box, I'll take some pics and post them up when I'm done.

Here is what I came up with, just mounted the resivoir to the back side of the air box, attached it with some 1/4 bolts with nylock nuts on the back, ran the hose that the wilwood kit came with the the factory location, and put a vacuum cap on the nipple coming off the brake resivoir

I checked mine today after reading this. My car has this issue as well. The hose was half off the reservoir nipple. My car was built on 09/10/2018 and I find it kind of dumb of Ford for not addressing this issue. Will be ordering this real soon.

I have felt really bad about the clutch and shifter feel. So I went looking at the assembly. Noticed that this line was almost off. Pushed it back on and after driving for a bit, got rid of the clunky nibbles from 1-2, clutch feels better AND my brakes feel a tad firmer. Then I find this thread.....It's definitely NOT in our heads.

Went ahead and ordered the Steeda kit.

It's piss-poor design - the hose should have been a 3-barb setup. Once re-attached, install a small zip-tie behind the barb. Don't over-cinch it. modestly tight is plenty to prevent future slippage and air-leaks.

Great post. Hose clamp may be an overkill. Like the zip tie idea.

A small zip tie is definitely the way to go for this.

I checked mine when this thread first appeared and it looked too much like the original pictures posted here. I pushed the hose up closer to the fluid reservoir and so far, it's stayed there without any other additional help.

Wow, just checked this out... Mine needed to be pushed up a bit, and I do get a little nibble on my MT82... As I pushed it up, no fluid seeped.

Mine hasn't moved since I pushed the hose on all the way. Wondering if the guy at the factory just isn't pushing the hose all the way onto the fluid reservoir nipple so it snaps into place. The hose does seem a little short, but you'd think if Ford saw a problem they would have fixed it by now.
