As a senior citizen I'm curious-how many other old guys are buying Mustang GTs? When I traded in my E350 (for my 19 GT) the look on the salesman's face was priceless.
I'm wondering how much of an anomaly I might be and if not, how many other "older enthusiasts" are enjoying their GTs?
I get questions constantly at the car wash (typically from Audi and Beemer owners) "Sir is that your car? How do you like it?" Translation - why the hell is an oldtimer like you driving that?
It's simple - you're never too old to enjoy a well balanced platform that brings a smile to your face each time you press that button. The active exhaust simply enhances the experience.

Dude. You in the photo? Recent photo? You're not a senior citizen :D
72 is ancient and yes that's recent. What one might consider a "good picture

Yes, had this exact conversation yesterday leaving autozone. 62 years young and enjoying life.

10:40PM..... Spent the day installing some Steeda Suspension parts, cleaning and waxing the car and out for a long ride. I'm not old, just smarter, quieter and know how to enjoy life.

What age does senior begin? Or is it just a state of mind...

Not quite a "senior citizen" by government standards (I turn 56 this year), but get funny looks on occasion and the mid-life crisis questions/accusations. Nope. No crisis. Just enjoy the car and enjoy improving it.
Found this article. https://www.jdpower.com/cars/expert-reviews/powersteering-2016-ford-mustang-review I'm sure there is some good demographic information out there some where, but haven't run across it, yet.

Me too, an old guy with a manual GT.
Some reasons why are;
1. I would have killed myself with this car when I was young
2. I couldn't afford a car like this when I was young
3. Which is why I'm an old guy with a hot car today ! :giggle:

58 and I have the same car and the same color with the same wheels with a stick. :sunglasses:
Yeah I would have killed myself if I had this car as a kid. I couldn't afford a car like this.. I had rusty old piece of crap Camaro's that needed to be wrenched every time you took one for a spin or you didn't make it back home..

Thid is exactly why I just parked a 6 speed Mustang GT in my garage. Plus the kids are all grown up too. Now it's time for Dad to play.

Although at 50 years old, I'm not technically a senior, I am getting up there. It makes me happy knowing people older than me are still enjoying their cars.

I was getting in the car at the post office a few years ago, and a gentleman about my age (67) stopped me and asked "isn't that a young mans car?". To which I replied, what makes you think I'm not a young man?
