I'll echo—first Mustang, first manual, first coupe. Started with a '99 Grand Am SE, got an '18 Fiesta SE when it died, then traded up to my '20 Mustang GT Base.

Congrats to the new owners. I'm still enjoying my '17 GT premium with Borlas catback soundtrack! She's a kick to throw around a canyon road. Enjoy the rides !

This is my first Mustang.

I was just typing out all the cars I've enjoyed and wow the list. I'll summarize. 3 Camaro, 1 Prelude, 2 Civics, 2 Jeeps, 1 Tribute, 1 Mazda 6, 1 Cx-5, 1 C300, 1 F4i and even a Cavalier at one point somewhere around college.
Mazda 6 with V6 manual?

I had a 65 289 fastback briefly in 1970. Back in those days, everyone picked on Mustangs, street racing, which got tiring fast. Traded it for a Challenger 440- 6 pack. I didn't really plan on buying another one, but it just sort of happened.

I have owned a few Ford trucks. Never a Mustang. Had some other muscle/pony cars over the years. I mostly haven't been to fond of the Mustang exterior except the 60s fast backs although the engines always were great and sounded really good. Well until the s550 which I think is absolutely a beautifully designed exterior and will one day be a collector classic.

I had a black 1967 Mustang 2+2 Fastback 390 back in 1969-1971. Drove it two years and sold it for a $200 profit. So my 2020 Mustang GT is my second one. I'll probably sell it for a profit one day when they quit making "gas hogs".

Back in 1976, got my driving permit and wanted to buy my neighbors 66 Mustang...had a 289 and was gold in color. My father said absolutely not...he was probably right...think the guy wanted $900 for it. Several years later my girlfriend (now my wife) had a 74 mustang II with 4 cyl and manual trans. What a pos. Leaked oil out of everywhere, ran like crap and constantly left her stranded. That was in 1983.
Fast forward...this year I bought my first mustang...GT convertible, auto, 401A, black accent, 3.55 gears and active exhaust. I am retired and use the car as my daily. Prior to this I had a 2019 Challenger Redeye but did not drive it much as I was too afraid of it getting stolen or damaged. Great freaking car...fit/finish was amazing inside and out, ran unbelievably smooth and the power was unreal.
The fit/finish on my mustang is so so. Lots of panels dont line up as nice as I'd like, but will live with it. Have gotten used to the slightly jerky A10 that constantly hunts for gears. Love the sound of the active exhaust. The interior is nicely laid out...but the leather looks like crap quality... loose and thin ...I now have seat covers to protect them. Really want to put the Roush s/c in it, but have read about many issues people having in their 21's. Enjoying the car but wish it had more low end grunt...I dont beat on it at all, its just would be nice to get that mega power feel when I apply a little bit of gas. Not knocking the car, glad I bought it.

2019 Ford Mustang GT Performance Pack 1
Hello everyone,
I used to own a 2018 Camaro RS (I4 2.0T hence the name of Razor RS ) and always dreamt of having a V8 Muscle Sports Car so I decided to pull the trigger
IMG-0948.jpg

So I was actually in the market for either the 3 of the following
1. 2019 Widebody Scatpack Challenger (Let me tell you Dodge kills it with the advertising)

2. Camaro 2SS 1LE (Owned a 2018 Camaro already So I figured why not switch it up)
(P.S. I wanted to be faster than any of her Ex's lmaooo and got tired of being slow)

3. A 5.0 Mustang (but I knew the risk having a mustang is carrying the reputation of a "Crowd Killer"

Not till I discovered the Performance Pack 1 for the GT I was in love not only with the looks but with the features of having the 401A package and also that distinctive sound the 5.0 makes!

So, long story short I traded in my 2018 Camaro RS Redline edition for a 2019 Mustang Performance Pack 1 with 401A and practically Loaded! only had 2700 miles!

Yep. I was actually hit by two motorcycles over the course of its ownership, and the third incident I layed it down low speed in a turn (original rear tire, damp road). I walked away from it and never looked back. That thing was bad luck, but the final incident was my fault. I just didn’t want to repair it again. I was also rear ended by a truck while on my 1970 CB750…. I don’t lane split, ride excessively fast, or anything of the sort, people just drive too fast and usually distracted anymore

Cell phones are more important than driving a one and a half ton vehicle.
