56 here so I guess I'm a younger senior? I don't care what anyone thinks because anyone who talks trash to me about my cars is just jealous IMHO. A couple years ago I took my Camaro SS into work. Dude comes up and says it screamed of a mid-life crisis. I told him his Hyundai screamed that he was all dead inside LOL. He walked away while the office gals walked over to get a closer look at the car. This GT turns heads. Between the awesome sound and the gorgeous body styling just wow! Its funny my girlfriend said I'm going to miss people gawking at the Camaro SS (they are pretty rare where I live oddly enough lots of Mustangs though) but ugh she was wrong. This car gets the attention it deserves I think.

Besides if it weren't for us older folks these cars wouldn't exist for long. Case in point the new C8 vette. If they are counting on young folks buying the car and manage to alienate the old guy vette purists it could flop. Young people just don't care about cars like we do.

I'm 51 and have loved Mustangs since my mom's 1974 4-speed... and if I had a nickel for everybody at work that says "mid life crisis, eh?" I could retire early!

68 years old here. Mine is a manual 6-speed, PP1. I added wheels, 285 tires all around (doesn't tram on the road) for a square fit, oil separator, white shift ball, and hood cylinders. Have a few more in the works including Steeda vertical links and white Daytona stripes. I really don't care if anyone likes it or not, I do.

Here's mine:

I am 62. I recently moved to Florida and decided to upgrade my 15 EB to a 19 GT with all of the fun toys. It puts a smile on my face even on the short drive to Publix. Anyone that thinks a car is just something to get from point A to point B, just drive a Mustang with the active exhaust set to sport or track.

"Me too, an old guy with a manual GT.

Although at 50 years old, I'm not technically a senior, I am getting up there. It makes me happy knowing people older than me are still enjoying their cars.
Same group as you, and we qualify for AARP now! LOL

Surprised how many of you chose the manual gearbox but, then again it looks like I'm in good company here ~ Ya'll are old school like me (65 yrs young).
When questioned about the 6 spd I tell people it's not really a muscle car unless it has a V8 and a stick shift. :like: Ha ha

Wish it would quit raining so I could go for a ride.....:frown:

P.S.
If AARP was worth a dam it would stop sending us doctor coupons and start sending us gas coupons - lol

I'm 58. Most of the golf courses won't give me a senior rate until I'm 60, so I'm not quite there yet. I don't own a GT yet, but I probably will get one after retirement when the long commute goes away. In the meantime I'm stuck with a more benign daily driver.

Me too, an old guy with a manual GT.
Some reasons why are;
1. I would have killed myself with this car when I was young :facepalm:
2. I couldn't afford a car like this when I was young

I would kill myself now with the GT of today. Had a 2000 GT and upgraded that to a 2017 V6. Between 3 motorcycles, 2 airplanes and 3 parachutes I can't afford a GT anyway. If you don't have a medicare card you don't count as senior.
