Einstein also said " The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.” KInda like what you're doing. Maybe you should try "If you want different results than what you’re getting, you have to try different approaches." But if you did that, you'd see that your arguments are invalid no matter what universe you are in.

Better yet, I didn’t say anything about hockey cause it will jinks the Leafs. I haven’t crossed that line yet. But it’s like Drake and the Raptors.

Come one ... only need 3 more posts to hit page 100 !!

Oh please...

If that prototype hadn’t appeared I d say 100 was it and let it die. But We have no idea what is under that hood. There are only so many options. But a variant of the 7.3 could be in there. Not the truck engine but maybe a variant. Even if they kept the block the weight penalty wouldn’t be insurmountable. New skin so it could be under there.

So the thread may continue a while yet...

That prototype video in that other thread isn't a 7.3L engine install. This thread will go on forever because pretty much anything mentioned triggers the "it might be a 7.3L transplant" part of the brain. It's like someone ringing a bell in front of Pavlov's dogs.

As if we had no idea prototype mustangs existed before that video was posted....

Everywhere he looks he sees 7.3 mustangs.

I'm pretty sure that's the battery-free electric drive. Still not sure why it's a v8 and not a turbine.

It was Twin Turbo who hinted that someone at Ford mentioned something to that effect that a dragster was in the works. And who at Ford was big into drag racing: Brian Wolfe. Whose motor just became a reality: Brian Wolfe. The fenders are new so could be longer. Lengthen the front and then widen it to keep proportions.

All they ever said was “that” truck motor would no go in the Mustang. How hard is it to come out with a compacted graphite iron block? Same casting? Change a few parts and: Bingo! A DRAGSTER!

Why not throw Brian a bone for all his work?

They are not going to put a truck engine in a Mustang. Full Stop.

Seems like a real far reach, and I know they legalized it in Canada, but didn't know it would give people 7.3L transplant hallucinations ... lol.

You may be right.... and I’m running out of real estate on the 7.3 dream.
