This is the start of my second S550 V6 project. For some that do not know, I went from a 2015 V6 with 110k miles up to a new 18 GT in May 2018. Unfortunately, in December, my 18 was totaled... My replacement is what you see below, a 2016 051A V6 Deep Impact Blue with 29k miles. Got the car for less than 17k in perfect condition which effectively halves the cost of the car comparted to the GT. My ambitious plan for this car is to make the Mustang Ford would not, a Premium Ecoboost V6. I also plan on some body mods like an 2018 rear bumper and possibly 2018 style front clip (with non-stock bumper) since I already have a few 18 parts. The project is just starting so the mod list is not fully together but will be coming soon!

Performance
-Custom high flow cat quad tip (Planned 2019)
-Custom CAI (Installed 1/2019 )
-GT Throttle body adapter (Installed 1/2019)
-MPT performance tune (Flashed 1/2019)
-2014 GT Throttle body (Installed 1/2019)
-MMR Lightweight Water Pump Pulley (Planned 2019)
-3.5 Ecoboost Turbos! (Planned mid 2019)

Suspension
-Eibach Pro Lowering Springs (Planned early 2019)
-BMR Cradle lockout (Planned 2019)
-Steeda Billet Shock Mounts (Planned 2019)

Exterior
-Ford Racing rear taillight panel with OneSmallFry's Cyclone GT350 like badge (Planned 2019)
-2018 Rear Bumper and Quad diffuser (Planned 2019)
-Pony projector mirror lights (early 2018)
-Larger foundry wheels 19x9.5 if available or GT CS Wheels (Planned 2017-2018)
-GT350 Track Pack Spoiler (Planned 2019)
-Trufiber A72 hood (Planned 2019-2020)
-Carbon Dynamics GT350 style fenders (Planned 2019-2020)

Interior
-Illuminated sill plates (Planned early 2019)
-Illuminated mycolor cup holder (Planned 2019)
-CJ Pony Parts all Leather Steering Wheel (Planned 2019)
-Sync 3 swap (Installed 12/2018)
-2018 Start Button (Installed 12/2018)
-Leather Interior (Planned 2019)
-Enabled Premium drive modes (programmed 2018)
-2018 Mustang Digital Gauge Cluster (Installed 12/2018)

Went ahead and ordered the pypes H-bomb catback to replace the terrible stock exhaust! 3" OD piping is overkill for an NA 6 but should work quite well with the turbo setup. Immediate plan is to work on acquiring supporting mods for the turbo setup like GT TB, 350 Intake box, High Flow catted down pipes, etc...

Also coming soon is the LCD Cluster! Got this cluster off of ebay for an excellent price and am currently working on acquiring the rest of the parts to complete the swap. Here is a teaser of the cluster in action in the V6! (the RPM gauge was not working but will work after programming)

Well guys bad news.... The pypes H-bomb sounds terrible.... It's way to loud in all the wrong areas. It basically sounds like a straight pipe from the headers. Going to swap in some magnaflow mufflers tomorrow or Sunday in place of the resonators of the kit. Hopefully that will fix it. The benefit is I still get 3" piping.

Digital cluster installed! Followed the how to thread and everything works perfectly! Can even get song title info from the sync 3 swap.

Current exhaust revision. This setup consists of the Pypes GT H-Bomb Catback modified with Magnaflow 4" round mufflers. I will be adding shorty headers and high flow catted mids soon. After these are added I will decide if I stick with an H or go with an X instead.

Looks good! I will have to read up on how to do that Sync 3 swap. Great upgrade for the V6.

Shorty Headers ordered! Went with the "eBay" specials since people seem to have had decent luck with them and $100 is alot nicer then $350 for BBK.

It is looking like I will be going the route of Eaton M90 for boost as I think it has the potential to be a very easy and low impact (not very intrusive and not requiring alot of mods to the vehicle itself) way to add boost. Plus the benefits that come from a roots style blower such as near instant torque and better power curve. The M90 should not fall off at the top like the 3.5 EB turbos would. Upgrades to the 3.5 turbos were proving to be a very expensive path.

Hope you can get it to work without much trouble or a big cowl hood! With your background/job, might be easier for you to troubleshoot during development and I'm sure if the price is right afterwards, you might get a few people interested in buying as well.

For the dash, what search terms were you using on ebay to find it? If I can get that kind of deal, I'll jump on it too, just looks awesome in there.

Have you considered a 4.6L engine swap? :)

Haha that I have! Still have the engine btw. I'll start out with supercharging and see where it goes from there.

What car set up is this for? I assume it’s for auto but I’m having a hard time deciphering that part number.
Correct me if I'm wrong but it should not matter. ABD is what tells the cluster Auto or manual.

I thought the auto clusters had a physical PRNDS light. Still trying to put it all together in my head. I might be wrong.
