I did keep them on the car.
I kept mine on my car this time because I'm terrible at bleeding brakes. I never seem to be able to get all the air out of the lines.

I can say it was much more difficult to paint with them on the car because of awkward angles. I was able to pint them much better off the car. I would also say a huge mistake I made was not jacking the car up enough. I jacked it up where the wheels were only a few inches off the ground, just enough to get the jack stands under the car at minimum height. Doing that made it much harder to paint. Jacking it up higher would have made it much easier.

Also, remember to remove the pads if you do this, very easy. Also take note of all the areas that will be visible before removing the pads so you don't miss anything.

Another tip. On front calipers, remove 1 bolt holding the caliper on (85 lb ft) and loosen the other one. Rock the caliper away from the hub as far as it will go and re-tighten the loosened caliper bolt to hold it firmly. It will give you a little more room. It won't move much but it will help.

All depends on your frame of reference.....I was not a fan of the dullish grey calipers, so I fixed them. I removed them and had my painter spray them with G2 caliper paint. I added hi-temp vinyl Brembo stickers and cleared them.

I also painted the rear calipers. The rear rotors, brakes, and calipers are not nearly as robust as the ones up front. But I think you have to paint them too.

Indeed looks great! What sprayer did he use? Most of the calipers I've seen done with the G2 kit and brush don't look this smooth, they have the brush stroke or textured look. How did he manage to make it look OEM smooth? Thanks

Not sure what sprayer he used......it's a shop that has sprayed a lot of things for me in the past. Top notch work.

That's what I have sitting in a box. Wasn't sure about going yellow, but it looks good, and is different than the red most people choose.

Painted my friends calipers on his DIB GT500 today. Came out pretty well.
is the standard blue from G2?

is there enough in one kit to do all 4 calipers?
