So is it best to just paint the whole caliper then reapply a brembo sticker? It seems difficult to tape off the small thin brembo sticker

That's what I did. Heat tolerant Brembo stickers are inexpensive. You can find them online.

What's the consensus for best looks...spray G2 with the PreVal System yourself, pay someone to spray, or brush on yourself?

I was originally thinking the PreVal system but then I'd have to take off the calipers

Is anyone painting the hats to prevent rusting at the same time as the calipers? Guessing that you would need 2 G2 kits for that

I was going to, but figured the paint would chip and scratch as much as I go from my dd wheels to track wheels. With the spray, one kit is enough to coat the front brembos and hats.

Why would you need to remove the calipers if it is masked off well?

I'm hesitant to use any kind of aerosol paint around the car due to overspray issues. Since G2 only has gloss finishes it looks like I'll be ordering 2 kits of the gloss black and some red "mustang" vinyl for a pp look

When I do it I will wait for a non-windy day, of course in the garage, and plastic everywhere. I might make a small portable paint booth to spray other stuff from the engine bay with the same paint. I just think with spraying it will look a lot better, imho.

I think you're right that spraying will look better, just isn't something I want to mess with and it looks like people have gotten pretty good results with the paint-on method.

Cool...I look forward to your results. I won't be getting to this for a little while (car is only 3 weeks old).
