So I want to paint my Brake Calipers with G2 Paint.

My question is, do I have to take out the Brake Pad Retaining Pins to paint the calipers? or do I just paint it over? I'm afraid the pins won't fit back in if I paint with them off, and I'm afraid it won't come out without chipping/cracking the paint if I paint with them on.

Am I stressing something that is a non-issue?

Thanks.

You do not. You just have top cover all the areas you don't want paint on. I am doing mine tomorrow with the same system and have cleaned and taped everything up. Good luck!

I did mine about a month ago. It was very easy. As mentioned, just tape off any area you are concerned with.

Also some good advice: The brush that the kit comes with is complete garbage. Go spend $7 at an art supply store and buy a better one. I cut off about 1/3 - 1/2 of the brush to make it a bit more firm. Paint spreads much better with that brush as opposed to the included one.
