Finally finished the BMR cradle lockout kit, steeda diff bushings (black), steeda ultralite linear springs. Still have to install my tri-ax sometime.

Results.. Amazing ride. This combo works perfect. No noise, squeaks or additional NVH. And wheel hop?? I can't make it do it. I tried everyway that I could, and not once did it hop. These pics are right after I set it off of the jack stands. So it may still settle a bit.

Smoked tail lights this am
You are close to me. Where did you buy them?
I will just say be VERY careful in FL. Statute is plainly visible from 1000 feet. I pulled my tints off my taillights my window tinter did from a roll of film.

It also says "An object, material, or covering that alters the taillamp's visibility from 1,000 feet may not be placed, displayed, installed, affixed, or applied over a taillamp."

Wont have an issue with cops, but just what I dont need is someone rear ending me and claiming they didnt see my taillights because they were illegally tinted; and then insurance claim is denied. Way too much money to risk IMO for a few shades darker taillights. That sentence can be manipulated in court easily by the insurance company lawyers that any cover on the taillights altering visibility is illegal and thus claim denied.

Not saying dont do it, but know the risks. They are quite large actually.

A better pic with more contrast that I took this morning at work with my phone. Also of note, it's going on three weeks since I polished her up with Liquid glass. I've not laid a hand on it but one time about a week ago with a duster and detail spray on the front cover to get some bug guts off. Still shiny...But dirty as hell.

Saturday I detailed the car. Removed the stupid sound tube and plastidipped the top portion of the overflow pumpkin.

Sunday I took the car out to an event a few friends hosted to raise some money for the VA Service Dogs. Ended up being a huge turnout (few hundred). I just parked my car in the back somewhere wasn't really trying to show it but a friend did grab this. I also cruised home with my buddy in his 15 EVO Sunday night. He is tuned with bolt-ons. He made 360 to the wheels when he got tuned. Anyways we did some highway pulls on the way home. I was actually surprised he wasn't able to pull me. We were pretty much dead on side by side but I would slightly pull away each time, except when I missed a gear a few times lol. Now from a dig I wouldn't stand a chance. FYI... he is a big guy 300lbs, and his wife is a lil big. I'm 180 and didn't have anyone else in the car.

Then yesterday evening I took it out for a drive to the mountains. This spot is only 30 minutes or so from me. Drove it up to some of the back mountain roads for a little while as well. Hit 4,000 yesterday.

Very true. I know someone who lost a case due to smoked taillights. It was not pretty.

Nice man. I think I am going to order the bushings and lockout. I still don't think I want to do springs. Maybe later after I get use to the car. How was the install?

Was a good weekend for the Mustang.

1) Installed Steeda jacking rails, popped her up on jack stands and swapped out the tranny fluid for some Royal Purple.
2) Took her to Iowa Mufflers and Brakes and had a custom H-pipe installed. Still scratching my head as to WHY Ford put that damn resonator on....
3) Full exterior detail - wash, clay and wax....

It wasn't too bad. It would have been nice to have been on a lift instead of jack stands, and it also not being 90 degrees in the garage.. LOL

Oh. I also removed the ugly engine cover. I also noticed what some people complained about having the PP strut tower brace and removing the dipstick. A little bit annoying but nothing too bad.
