No celebrity here!!
I was expecting 14 months also.
Not sure what's going on. It's not fair that those that ordered early should have to wait!

Had to email and phone dealer after a week of no reply.
Still no reply so phoned again and was lucky to talk to sales guy.
He was able to supply VIN #.

Checked VIN and position 10 of the number is "H" (2017) year.

Ford Order Tracking says "matching vehicle could not be determined. Pls contact your dealer to get status updated about your order".

Also checked ETIS and a message stating "Pls check back later". "The window sticker has not yet been released for this vehicle".

Looks like all is legitimate. Build should start soon, I would expect.

Thought this info may be useful for those that are experiencing frustrations with there order.

Give your Dealer a call and ask them to have a look on your order in their system and whether an NSC code has been assigned. If yes, get the code and message Ford Australia on Facebook and they will be able to provide you with a scheduled build.
My dealer recently gave me my NSC, but when I contacted Ford Australia on FB they just told me that while the order has been received, it hasn't been given a build month yet. :( You would think that after nearly 6 months they would have some idea of when it's going to be built.

Same as above. Ordered 13th Jan 2016 received NSC 13th June 2016 no build date as yet.

Ford FB told me to contact them later this year. I would think a Nov/Dec build for a March 2017 delivery.

They also said estimated time of 12-15 months from order.

I ordered Dec 17 and I'm told July Build and I'm waiting on a VIN.

Yes paul .sorry typo..dec 2015
got this answer back from ford on FB today..

Hi Tim, we have received your order for your Mustang. We have no expected build month at this time, however if you placed your order in December we would expect that you would likely have the keys anywhere from December and March. If you would like to come back to us later in the year we will be happy to check what new information is available for you. Thanks FordServiceAU^CZ

Ordered on 4 Sept 2015. Dealer still has no build date. Went to visit last week. Took the dealer principal's GT for a test drive. Best not to care about when it's all going to happen I think. If it turns up, it turns up.

One thing I saw on Ford's Facebook page when looking at the latest Yuvi adventure was someone making a crack about underside of Mustangs being rusty (presume surface rust obviously, if it's true). Anyone stuck one up on a hoist to take a look?

Ordered Sep 2015, indicated delivery Sep 2016.

Once I got my NSC in Feb, Ford Australia were telling me production was scheduled for Sep, so this would translate to Dec delivery. Checked again in Apr and got the same reply, but they suggested I check back in July.

Decided to contact them a on 20 Jun and couldn't believe it when they told me my car was scheduled to be built that day. Received confirmation from Ford Service that on the following Friday it was on a train headed for Baltimore.

The ETA they're now giving me is 10th Sep.

After all this wait I'll be on vacation in the US then, but it's pretty certain it will be there for when I get back later in Sep (with some Mustang goodies I've ordered and had sent to a friends house over there to save on postage).

So looks like it's going to be a 12 month end to end for me. can't complain about that!

Do you have your NSC code? If not get it from the Dealer and message Ford Australia on Facebook. If you ordered Sep 2015 I reckon your car should have been built by now (I was a Sep 15 order and mine was built last week)
