Just got back from looking at the 2015 gt that kpm have bought in to Aus, it was viewed at a Ford dealer here in Adelaide..it is a base gt in competition orange, auto, lhd.
First up, the colour is awesome..I have seen the colour before on 69 mustangs, it was called calypso coral then, and on a few later models. I am very happy that we ordered that colour.
It is lower than expected, wide at the rear, well balanced dimensionally..a great looking car.
The interior, even being a non premium version is similar to the ones we will be getting except that it had the small touch screen and cloth seats. The dash is soft touch, door uppers are hard plastic...it seems a good enough place to be in...
The engine bay is chockers....not much spare room. The sound tube is bulbous and takes up a lot of room, I understand why so many people remove it.
They ran the engine and gave it a fair caning....it is quiet....a decent exhaust will be the first thing to go on it.
It also had the base model 18 inch silver wheels...lucky we are getting 19's...the 18's just look odd with their big profile tyres.
Final impression.....it is superb looking car, it made the missus even more annoyed that it is taking so long to get here...fit and finish seemed ok , there were a lot of people all over it, so it was difficult to open and close much, but I will be more than happy with it.
The viewing just made us hungrier for the thing.
