When to expect order placed Jan 2016?

Does anyone have any idea of roughly when I can expect my Mustang, which I ordered January 7, 2016? It's been nearly 5 months and I haven't heard anything from Ford yet. Has anyone else who placed an order in Dec 2015/Jan 2016 heard anything yet? My car is a auto GT fastback.

I ordered in February 2016 and was told that the ETA (at that stage) was about June 2017. But who knows. I haven't heard anything from anyone yet.

I ordered in February 2016 and have not heard anything from anyone yet. The dealer told me the ETA would be about June 2017.

You should receive NSC 4 months after order? Delivery is usually around 12 to 14 months unless you get lucky with any cancelled orders that are exactly as per your spec that may be offered.

With the additional 2000 allocations you should be getting it in Feb/March 2017. Expect a November build. I'd suggest you ping Ford AU on Facebook around October to see if there is a VIN number

ordered dec 5 2015 and got nsc 13th of june. build date sept for nov/dec delivery. then to shelby factory to be a super snake. end result 180 thousand . hopefully worth it

Ordered Magnetic Fastback Gt Auto on Dec 30.
Got NSC mid June.

Was never really decided on color ,told dealer either magnetic ,oxford white or ingot silver.So he put magnetic on contract,saying can change color later.
Any way after seeing all the colors,i finally decided on wednesday night that i'm changing to oxford white.
To my surprise i get a call thursday morning from the dealer ,told me sep build nov16 eta.
Said that's great news,told him i was just going to call him to change from magnetic to oxford white.Hes reply humm ill see what i can do ,maybe can. But will do my best.
This made me start to worry.
So for the next 6 hours until i got a text from him i was really sweating.
Good news amended order to oxford white..
Yous think i was lucky with the color change.

Looks like i'll have it for a White Xmas!

You were very lucky that they allowed you to change colour as I have heard of a few people who couldn't.
I ordered my Lightning Blue GT manual fastback in mid February 2016, got my NSC on the 7th July and was told the ETA would most likely be about October or November but nothing official. After reading your comment it looks like I might get a call from the dealer before long to confirm my build date - YIPPEEEEE. When I placed my order I was told that the ETA would be around June 2017, so they have certainly pulled their fingers out to try to catch up with the demand. Good on the manufacturer - full credit to them.
