That is a pretty generic response. I would say that often when people add power, they also add better suspension and brakes, among other things. Of course there are those that only want more horsepower and nothing else matters much.
They will add supporting mods, after installing the go fast goodies. I see this more often than not. Based on the Roush website, you only get a pad/rotor upgrade if you select the Podium package on their stage 2 or 3 cars. And the stage 3 is 700+hp for the GT.

Seriously the key to not doing this is simply leaving advancetrac on. If you stay straight enough even with advancetrac on you can rip 100 foot rolling burnouts all day

I agree, as I am doing exactly that. Please see the comment that I was responding to and you will understand that you and I both are saying the same thing. Yes they most install them after adding the go fast parts, but at least they do add them. The poster I was responding to indicated that many would not upgrade other parts. The Stage 3 = Phase 2 Supercharger and is 750 hp :).

Everyone wants a fast car. Can everyone handle a fast car? The exception, not the rule. Growing up on dirt / muddy roads would help a majority of the population with steering/throttle control.

I agree and throw in snow and ice to that list.

Yes it was my brother. He had aftermarket suspension and e85. Pushing 850 to the wheels. No tickets though. But his insurance will have to pay for that wall and power pole. He was really lucky. I think we are going to tow it to my house so I can take everything off. We will see with the driveshaft and axels they are both dss 1400hp ones. The tow truck driver said that he was surprised they did not break.

I'd say the majority of the time folks add power, especially to vehicles like Mustangs and Camaros, they do 0 to add more control.

Hell there's a few dealerships that will sell BASE GTs that are supercharged with around 650HP. With 0 suspension/brake/tire mods.

The car world is not represented by members like on this forum. Most just add power and do nothing else.

Did he take out a telephone pole? Will his insurance pay for the damages if that's the case?

Most important, he is ok.
Most importantly innocent pedestrians weren't killed

Getting "on-it" in a neighborhood with narrow streets and sidewalks is quintessential poor judgment.
