David Hale, the State Department’s No. 3 official, testified in a Nov. 6 closed-door deposition that no one in the Trump administration or any "government channel" ever mentioned former Vice President Joe Biden or his son Hunter as a reason for withholding aid from Ukraine, according to a transcript of his remarks released late Monday by House Democrats in their impeachment inquiry.

Democrats have argued that the White House improperly pressured Ukraine to look into the Bidens and Burisma Holdings, the natural gas company where Hunter Biden held a lucrative role despite limited expertise while his father oversaw Ukraine policy as vice president. George Kent, a State Department official who has also testified in the impeachment investigation, said he flagged Hunter Biden's apparent conflict of interest to the Obama administration at the time.

However, Hale said, he saw the Bidens referenced only in media reports -- as well as in a "speculative" email from former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, who testified last week. Hale is scheduled to testify publicly Wednesday....

Not sure who you are talking about, I am simply lamenting the loss of everything that's good about America to the despotic left leaning socialists. But since you are here, your man Vindman didn't do so well today. First he doesn't know who the whistleblower is then he can't tell who in the "intelligence" agency he talked to because that would out the whistleblower. I bet Schiff just did a facepalm with that one.

Speaking of "whistleblowing", these ambassadors testifying today (Volker & Morrison) directly involved in these US/Ukrainian meetings, after hearing of the things said in these meetings, they immediately reported their concerns of what they were hearing, knowing they were hearing what sounded like demands and stipulations associated with the release of the military aid. They need to have Bolton, Sondland and Giuliani also testify since they were also there and pretty much directly involved. I want to hear why Bolton thought Giuliani was a hand grenade, and why did Bolton suddenly get fired after all this transpired. Giuliani is right in the middle of it all.

Amb Morrison admitted that he felt the Trump phone call with Pres Z was put on the secret server to try and bury its discovery, and some people involved with handling the phone call recording were claiming it was an "administrative error" that it was stored there. Sounds pretty fishy to me. They need to have the people involved with storing the phone call testify under oath, and everyone needs to hear the whole phone call word for word, not an edited "transcript" which Morrison said happened.

So just releasing the transcript for anyone to read isn't good enough for you? Guliani, while probably a scumbag in his own way, does not work for the government, he is a private individual, he is also a personal attorney, therefore he can't be made to talk because of attorney client priviledge.

I wonder, as President, can Trump look up old calls to foreign leaders made by, say, people like Obama and make sure there was never any nefarious dealings?
