In the final year of the Obama administration, an American lawyer traveled to Romania to meet with a businessman accused of orchestrating a corrupt land deal.

Japan might be a good indicator of what our future looks like. Stagflation. Basically the only things that increase are healthcare ,pensions, taxes, and debt. A slow grind downwards would be the worse case for most people. Imagine you 401k losing 4-5% per year for 25 years. That would be far more painful than a crash.


One day people will realize they are just watching theater while someone is at there house stealing everything they own. Or they won’t.

Really off topic for this thread. Government spending and printing money, etc. is one of the few things that Trump hasn't been fighting the system on, so I'm not aware of anyone wanting to impeach Trump over that. Trump voters mostly hate it I'm sure, however.

I like to talk about fiscal policies though. I hope if Trump gets in for a second term he goes after some of the Fed's spending habits. So far he has done nothing to rein in spending.

Tell me how printing money makes the 1% richer. And why I should care about how much money someone else has.
